Author's Note/Disclaimer: I re-watched the movie (AGAIN) and decided I wanted to know what Phineas was thinking in those few precious seconds. HEHE! Sorry, I will update Reunited soon enough I just didn't want to forget this idea :3 Hope you enjoy this one-shot! In Phineas's POV of course.
Let me explain some sort of background, first of all. My name is Phineas Flynn-Fletcher. I'm a kid with dark blue eyes and orange-ish red hair. Ever since I was two, I have lived across the street from a girl my age named Isabella Garcia-Shapiro. She's a really cute girl with dark eyes and darker hair.
Now, I've always sorta liked Isabella. But as I got older (I'm eleven now!) I started liking her more and more. I really did! Hey, it's not weird- people used to get married at that age! (Not that I have any ideas yet! 0o)
The only person who knew about it was Ferb. I just couldn't bear it if anyone else knew. Ferb was the perfect secret keeper, as he barely said anything else anyway. Not to mention he's my brother. He would patiently listen as I poured out my feelings and worries. He would always get that weird grin on his face when I said I was worried that she didn't like me. Like he knew something I didn't. Drives me nuts.
So everyday, she comes over to help us build stuff. I focus really hard on making sure no one (Ferb not included) figures out I like her. I probably miss a lot of stuff, but secrets are so worth it!
Today was a crazy day. Long story short-Me and Ferb were riding in a badminton birdie when we got knocked off course and broke some pharmacists' machine. We helped him rebuild his "Other-dimension-inator" and got to go into an alternate dimension! Then we found out our platypus was a secret agent. We spent the day running away from the pharmacists double and his army of robots, and when we got home, we had to have our memories erased, so our platypus could stay with us.
"Um, Major Monogram?" Isabella piped up to my right as we all stood, ready to have some amnesia kick in.
It was good to see her, as I looked up, waiting for her question. I hadn't seen her most of the day, and the last few hours I had been worried that some robot would get her.
"Yes?" the strange man in green replied.
"So none of us will remember any of today?" Isabella asked. What was she getting at?
"That's right…" The man answered.
Isabella got a mischievous expression on her face, and said "Good!"
I barely had a split second to be confused before the world stopped spinning. She kissed me! Isabella kissed me!
I wish I could have seen my face. I gasped, and said, "Isabella!"
The magic of the moment hit me. What a perfect ending to the best day ever! Nothing could go wrong now!
Then it did. Isabella raised her hand in the air, and said the three worst words ever. "Hit it, Carl!"
Then I remembered. No! No! I couldn't forget after nine years of waiting for this moment! No! No!
I voiced this too late.
"Wait, wait, WAIT!"
