Jack sat on their bed watching as Ianto packed up all of his belongins. He knew it was his fault that Ianto was leaving Torchwood, and most importantly leaving him. Three years together and three little words are ending them. Or more likely the fact that those three little words have never left Jack's lips.

'I love you,' Jack thought desperately as Ianto started shoving his clothing into suitcases.

"Yan, please don't do this," Jack managed to choke out.

Ianto looked up at Jack, his face cold and his beautiful blue eyes swimming in tears. "We can't keep doing this Jack. I can't keep doing this. You don't realise how much leaving you hurts me, but if I stay here, it's going to hurt me even more. I can't stay with you knowing that you don't love me."

"We can make this work Yan," Jack said desperately. He grabbed Ianto's wrists and pulled him closer. "Just don't leave Yan, please don't leave me."

Ianto turned his head away as the tears began to fall, "Give me a reason to stay, Jack. Just give me one reason."

Jack turned Ianto's face back toward him and swiped away the tears with his thumbs. "Because, Yan if you leave me now, you'll take away the biggest part of me. If you leave me now, you'll take away the very heart in me. I do love you, Yan."

Ianto's eyes widened and he whispered, "Really?" before he crushed his lips to Jack's lips in a desperate, frenzied kiss.

What felt like hours later, which in reality was only minutes, the two broke apart. Resting his head against Ianto's, Jack whispered, "Yes, I really do love you. So, Yan are you staying or are you going to break both of our hearts?"

"Well..." Ianto said, pushing both of them back onto the bed, "I think I'll just have to stick around."

Jack just hugged Ianto close and smiled as the two fell into another more passionate kiss.
