YAAAAA! I got the last chapter out and it didn't take me months to write! Lol

Okay on a serious note here. I am thinking of another story to write (I know, I have many stories I need to finish but I am stuck with a lot of them! And this plot bunny won't go away!) so I will be leaving a poll up on my page and a complete description towards the bottom, so read that before voting please It's a Harry Potter/Soul Eater crossover. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU VOTE! There are a lot of ways this story will go depending on the votes.

And don't gripe on me about how courtrooms go. I am not a law student so I made the Observant Court a little different than the human one.

This is and un edited chapter, so pardon any grammar and spellings issues! I plan to go back through to story at a later date for do any corrections. Enjoy~

Epilogue

"Order in the Court!" yelled an Observant in one of the Judges chairs that lined one side of the court room, along with 4 other Observants, each dressed in different color robes lined with gold. Green, Red, Blue, Orange and Yellow. The one in the Middle with the blue Robes was the current speaker. "The Observant High Council for the Superior Court is now in session! All members have been sworn in and this Trial will now commence!" Everyone hushed quickly and stared expectantly at the Judges. "We will start on the case of one Maxwell Treaty, who is being accused of treason by Releasing the 5 Evil Ancients: one of the original creators of the Ghost Zone, and for the Murder of a human Girl, one Rachel Treaty."

The accused was seated in a chair, hands and feet chained to the arms and legs, the faint green glow coming off the steel to show that it was ghost-proof. The teen scowled at the Council around him and gave a harsh yank for the hundredth time on the chain that never yielded. Red eye burning with hatred, the harsh burn scar on one side of his face left by the Time Apprentice was slightly swollen and scabbed after only a few weeks to heal.

"Maxwell Treaty, you have been brought before the Council for releasing the Evil Ancients with full intent, knowing just who and what they were, and what they would do once granted freedom. Is this true?" The Observant Judge in Red asked, his tone cool and sharp.

Maxwell snarled and yanked again on the chain. "Yes. What of it?"

"Is it true that you, full knowingly, did this with the sole purpose of destroying both realms?"

"I did." the teen confirmed.

"What did you hope to gain with the destruction of our home and the Human Realm?" The Observant in orange asked.

"They offered me thing none of you could ever dream of." The teen replied, narrowing his red eyes, the burn pulling taunt across his face. "Power. And a fresh start. They said they would teach me things. Magic that only they knew. Magic that would allow me to rule over the Human Realm, while they took back the Ghost Zone. They hate Humans and I hate ghosts! Seemed like a fair trade."

The one in yellow shot the boy a confused look. "But you yourself are ghost." He stated. "Why would you hate your kind like that?"

Max snarled. "Don't compare me to you! The Ancients told me there was a form a magic to give me back my life. Make me human again, but still allow me to have my powers."

The room burst is whispers and the Observant in Blue gave a quick shout that caused everyone to fall silent once more. "Enough!" he then fixed his single eye back down at the teen with a glare. "You speak of becoming a Halfa."

Max smirked and leaned back in his chair. "Of course! It's the perfect form! The life of human with the powers of a ghost! Who wouldn't want it? Not dead, not alive! The Perfect mix of both worlds!"

The one in orange leaned forward. "But why do you hate ghost so much for you to doom us all? It's foolish to think those Ancients would have honored their words. Trickery and deceit is what they are best for, they would destroy you in an instant after they were release if you tried to approach them. The reward if not worth the consequences. What was your motive?"

"Ghost are evil! Every single one of you! Ya'll raided my home countless times and took everything from me! My own life! I died because of one of your kind!" Max yelled. "I tried to go back home to my family after I was declared 'missing', and guess what happened? I was rejected! They didn't believe it was me and shunned me." The teen's eyes became downcast as he gritted his teeth. Everyone could see the anguish and hatred that was festering in him. "They screamed…" he spoke lowly. "They screamed and cried. My sister was at work, so she never saw me." He trailed off. The courtroom was silent for a few minutes waiting to see if he continued. Maxwell shook his head violently and snapped his head back up. "After I made the deal with the Ancients they granted me a temporary human form that masked my ghost one, so that I could try to go back to my family, only to find that my parents had moved and only my sister stayed behind. She was so happy to see me, that I couldn't tell her the truth, that I was ghost. She would have reacted just like my parents, she was their favorite after all." He sneered around the room, freezing when his eyes landed on a shocking purple cloak and black one side by side in the back of the courtroom. Snarling at the pair he whirled back to the Head Judges.

The one in green spoke loudly. "Don't bring every single ghost into your problems!"

The one is blue spoke up. "I think we can all reach a verdict for this portion of the case?" They all nodded. "Very well. We shall move on to the murder on one Human girl, Rachel Treaty. She was the sister you were just speaking of, correct?"

"Yes." The teen looked away, trying not to look towards the cloaked figure on the other side of the room.

"Is it true you used her death as a sacrifice in order to summon the Ancients."

"Yes."

"You were just telling us that she accepted you back after going 'missing'. Why did you choose you own blood to kill?"

At that Maxwell remained firmly silent.

The judges in front of him stared imposingly at him, seeing as how they were giant eyeballs, it wasn't that hard for them to do. Maxwell thought they looked ridiculous.

"Are you not going to answer the question, Treaty?"

"No."

The Judges looked amongst each other then back at him. The orange spoke in a harsh tone. "We can and will harshen your sentence unless you start talking."

Red eyes scowled back up at them bitterly before huffing. "I thought after a while that nothing changed and she still supported me, maybe she would accept me being a ghost, but I chickened out, and decided that she would most likely be like my parents." He growled. "I would have hoped my own sister would have accepted me, after all that time we lived together. But she would have rejected me too! The sting of betrayal was so painful, I lost control. If she wasn't going to accept what happened to me, I would force her to help me in a different way. So I used her blood and soul as the material for the ritual to free the Evil Ancients." He looked back down at the floor. "I figured that it would save me from the pain of betrayal again, so I lured her down to the underground system under the old park with the words that I had found the coolest place and had to show. Being as gullible as she was, she followed like a puppy. Led her right into my trap. At first she was confused, then when she started to piece together what was going one, she tried to escape. So I stopped her and killed her."

The court was suddenly alight with noise again causing the Judges to once more shout for order.

"I think this case as its conclusion. We need no more confession. We are ready to make out decision."

An observant that stood at the side of the High Table, stepped forward, and unrolled a piece of parchment in front of him and spoke loudly. "The Superior Court Judges have made their final judgements. What say you the judgement of one Maxwell Treaty for Treason to Release the Ancients?"

"Guilty!" They chorus.

"What say you on the Judgment of the murder of the human girl, Rachel Treaty?"

"Guilty!"

The observant snapped the scroll back shut again. "What will his punishment be?"

The blue one spoke up. "The Rest of eternity in our cells. Lock him away."

The gavel slammed down once and the guards snatched the teen by his shoulders as one reached to unlock the chain from the chair. As he was hauled to his feet and through to court room, he was about the pass the Black and Purple cloaked pair. He looked up and was meet with solid Green and Blue eyes. Maxwell's eye widened at the Time Apprentice, noticing faint healing scars across the boy's face, sporting a few faded burn scars of his own, most noticeably around his eyes. Nothing that would be too permanent, much to his disappointment. After all, the burn the Time Apprentice gave him will be decorating his face for the rest of his afterlife

The Apprentice's lips thinned as he passed and eyes narrowed. At a closer look, he realized that his eyes were not in fact solid green or blue, but the whites of his eyes were a fainter shade than his irises. Those eyes were judging him, even after the court already did so. "You were wrong, you know." The former Halfa murmured to him, voice cold. "She would have accepted you as a ghost."

It pissed him off. "Oh yeah? How would you know?" the red eyed ghost teen asked with teeth bared.

The Apprentices eyes softened, just a little around the corners. "Because she accepted me."

With wide eyes, the guards hauled him past with a harsh shove and exited the courtroom.

And straight to his new home in the cells.

End Epilogue.

Yuuuup. So you guys got one more glimpse of Danny in the court room for the story finale. This was held after the events of the last chapter, so Danny is now out of his bandages, but as you can see that his eyes are a little different, I made the whites of his eyes a faint shade of the eyes respective color. I find it helps with the 'full ghost' look, will also make him a bit more imposing when he takes the throne.

Thank you all so much for following this story for the past...lemme check...holy crap! 5 YEARS...ouch. Really! Thanks for sticking for the long haul! it means a lot! Keep and eye out for my other stories or new story I should hopefully be posting!
