I wish I had listened . I wish I had listened. I wish I had listened ! why didnt I listen ? ….

"You should have listened to me , Mikey."

My brother , the genius.

"I know , I know" I sighed, " Will you help me ?"

"Maybe" Gerard smirked, " if you admit that this whole thing was a stupid waste of time , I was right and im your superior"

" yea, yea , right" I said dismissively , "just help me"

By now your probably wondering what I got myself into and why. I'd like to say it was for ' the greater good' but the truth is it was for her. Cherry-Alice. Shes the reason I am here asking Gerard, my older, supposedly wiser, brother, the very one who , not a week ago, told me not to do the very thing I did , for help. To understand what happened fully, you should here my story from the start.

****nearly a week ago ****

"Dude?" repeated Gerard for the fifth or sixth time , snapping me out of my day dream. It was about her. She's standing at her locker with her friend . I think her names madison nut honestly I couldn't care less. Cherry, as most people seem to call her, is talking. As she talks, she twirls her hair around her finger , making it dance and catch the light magnificently, showing all the colours in her midnight blue hair. Her hair. Black , died dark blue a year ago , hangs like a curtain framing her face perfectly. Her friend talks back . its good news. Her eyes light up and she smiles, its like a ray of light has hit her face. Her eyes are blue too . but not too bule , theres a green twinge hidden deep inside them. She has this way of ….

"Dude !"

…. crap!

im not normally like this and to be honest its not my fault. Its hers. Her and her stunning gothic features and insane kindness and belief in good in all man.

Oh better answer Gerard before he snaps or leaves .. I think I see his eye twitching

"ya?" I say as innocently as I can, my eyes going wide.

"you cant keep staring at her – its weird." Gerard commented curtly before going on about other things I didn't care enough about to listen to fully.

"im not weird!" I protested, " or staring" I added after a moments thought.

"Sure!" Gerard replied shortly, symbolising the end of the conversation.
