Noah sighed. He'd been practising sweet talking a sandwich for at least half an hour and still hadn't thought of a decent way to ask Rebecca out.

"Why is this so difficult?" he muttered to himself.

Noah remembered his electric guitar and decided that he needed a break. He picked it up and placed the strap over his shoulder. Resting the guitar against his stomach he played a short riff and tried again.

"Hey Rebecca, will you go out with me?" Noah smiled and patted the guitar. "That's the line."

Rebecca's eyes widened, she'd been about to enter the room but had stopped to listen to Noah playing. She'd heard a little more than she'd intended. Rebecca ran away as quietly as she could and arrived at Amanda's desk. She patiently waited for her friend to acknowledge her but Amanda was busy rummaging underneath her desk. After a few minutes of this Rebecca cleared her throat loudly. Amanda popped her head over the desk.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"What are you doing?" said Rebecca.

Amanda groaned and sat up.

"Trying to get Wilder's yellow post-it notes off my desk; apparently he's lost his science project and needs these to help him remember where he's been." she explained holding up 5 yellow notes.

"Oh." Rebecca frowned. "Anyways, can I talk to you in private?"

"Sure. Let's go to the one place Wilder won't have searched." Amanda replied firmly.

"Where's that?"

"The girl's toilets."

Soon Rebecca and Amanda were able to talk privately. It took a while to distract Amanda from the mirrors however.

"So what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"

"Well, I think Noah is going to ask me out."

"That's fantastic! What are you talking to me for? Go out there and 'accidentally' bump into him. What's the problem?"

"Firstly I'm a bit startled by your enthusiasm, secondly it sounds like he's been planning this for a while."

"So?"

"What if he never actually says it?"

"Rebecca, I know this is going to sound cheesey, but follow your heart. You'll get there in the end." Amanda advised.

"Thanks." Rebecca said sheepishly.

"You're welcome." Amanda replied hugging Rebecca before pushing her out the door. "Now go get him!"

Much to Rebecca and Noah's surprise Amanda's push had thrust her right into him.

"Oops! Sorry." he apologised stepping back.

"Noah what are you doing outside the girl's toilets?" Rebecca asked suspiciously.

"Oh. I was just – uh – admiring Wilder's decorative post-it display from a distance." he lied. Rebecca glanced at the office. The amount of yellow covering was pretty impressive but she didn't believe him. She gave Noah a look. "Okay I was waiting for you." he admitted.

Rebecca smiled.

"And why was that?"

"Erm…because I wanted to…Rebecca will you go out with me?"

Her grin grew wider.

"I thought you'd never ask."

"Is that a yes?"

Rebecca laughed and pulled him into a kiss. When she broke away they noticed Wilder armed with yet another post-it note. He stared at them.

"I think that means yes buddy!"
