It was 10 years after Jenny's Game when she sold the house. 6-year-old Skye Belleview moved in with her family. What they didn't know was that Julian had been recreated and still watched in the shadows. And that he had fallen in love with Skye. Now 16-year-old Skye has to pick back up where Jenny left off, but there are a few twists to this new game. And Skye and her friends may never be the same.
I don't own the idea or Julian or any other characters that may appear, but Skye, her family, and her friends are all mine. I also do not own any books or songs that pop up.

Chapter 1:
"This place is beautiful!" Skye's mother stepped inside with her baby boy in her arms and her husband in tow. The sophisticated couple took in the architecture, barely noticing that their daughter was not with them.
"Didn't I tell you how marvelous it was, dear?" Skye's father took his wife's hand lovingly as they walked through the living room. "Just the kind of place you deserve." His wife smiled at him for a moment before becoming distracted by the clean and fashionable kitchen. Skye's father turned back towards the old owner, a beautiful woman with blonde hair and bright green eyes.
"Thank you for letting us come on such short notice. My wife needed to see it before making any final decisions but it's looking good." He said, taking in the view of the street from the living room.
"Of course. It's no problem at all. I've already moved everything out. You and you're family can be moved in as early as this weekend." The woman gave him a tired smile.
"That would be wonderful-" Skye's father paused, holding out his hand for shake.
"Jenny. Jenny Thorton."
Jenny took his hand for a quick moment before retreating towards the door. In that instance, a little girl came running in, hair disheveled and eye glimmering with joy. The beautiful little girl smiled up at Jenny, looking like an angel in white. She was the picture of perfection, and almost an exact image of Jenny at that age, causing Jenny's smile to fade.
"Hi princess." Skye's father's voice called out from behind Jenny.
"Daddy! I met the boy across the street! He told me that I couldn't throw the football as far as him but I showed him what we practiced and I threw it way further than him! He was so surprised he almost fell over!" Skye excitedly ran into her father's arms.
"That's wonderful, sweetheart." He put Skye down just as his phone rang. He abandoned the little girl, answering the phone immediately and left the room.
Skye turned back to Jenny, who was watching with interest. Seeing Skye's identical green eyes, looking back at her, she gave her a slight smile. The front door was still open beside her.
"Hi." Skye said, walking up to her. "My name's Skye. It's nice to meet you." She held her hand out for Jenny to shake. Jenny reacted in confusion and amusement to the small girl greeting her so formally but complied. "My daddy and mommy always do that when they meet someone."
Jenny gave a little laugh. "How polite and mature of you. My name is Jenny." Skye gave her a big, toothy grin. "I think you're really going to like it here. This was the house I grew up in."
"Really?" Skye gave her full attention to the woman before her.
"Yes. I'll even bet you'll end up in my old bedroom."
Jenny halted for a second. Skye did not notice and began talking about her old bedroom but Jenny's thoughts raced back to the night before and the blue eyes she saw in the closet of her old bedroom, watching her. Snapping out of it, her attention returned to the little girl describing the color of her walls. She smiled, but felt the anxiety of the night before building up. She had barely slept after seeing Julian again and she spent the rest of the night pacing in the living room. It was times like these that she missed Tom. He would have known how to make her feel better. But there was just too much stress on them these days. A four day trip from their home in New York to California would have given them a chance to have multiple arguments. The last thing she needed was another argument with Tom. The divorce was almost finalized. There was no point in drawing out their marriage any longer.
"That sounds beautiful." Jenny said to Skye just as Skye's mother and father walked in.
"This place is incredible. Let's talk paperwork." Skye's mother pulled Jenny aside.
Skye's father bent down to Skye's height. "Do you want to see you new room?" Skye grinned at him and ran out of the room and up the stairs.
Stepping into one of the bedroom's, Skye stared up in amazement at her new bedroom. She walked into the center, standing in front of a vanity. She cocked her head slightly, too focused on herself and new surrounding that she did not notice the closet door crack open slightly. Giving a little twirl, Skye began to dance to music she could hear only in her head. Closing her eyes, she began to hum, raising her arms and spinning. With a little laugh, she opened them, smiling at herself in the mirror with pure joy.
Turning her head partially, she took in the rest of her surroundings. Her eyes immediately connected to the blue eyes in the closet. She gasped at the beauty. She had never seen a color like it before. They weren't just blue. They were an otherworldly blue. Absolutely mesmerized, she turned to directly face the door. Taking small steps forward, she reached out to the eyes lovingly watching her.
Just as she reached the door, just as she was about to take a step in, she heard her father call for her. Skye turned her head and shouted, "Coming!"
She looked back into the closet back the eyes were gone. Wrinkling her forehead in confusion, she slammed the door open. The emptiness of a normal closet looked back at her. She reflected silently for a second longer before shrugging, closing the door, and racing out of the room, slamming the bedroom door behind her.
Silence rang in the room for a moment before a tall, beautiful boy stepped out of the closet. His eyes were bluer than any blue and his hair as white as freshly fallen snow. He ran a long, skinny finger through his hair, smiling slightly. He gave a light chuckle, awe-stricken by the angel he had just encountered. An almost familiar angel. He walked to the center of the room where she had just stood and looked at his appearance. A look of determination passed through his eyes. With a deep breathe, he moved to the window.
Looking down at the street below him, he watched as Jenny waved goodbye to the family. A genuine smile took over her face as she took in her childhood home for the last time. Her eyes moved upwards and her smile dropped as she saw Julian in the window.
Julian gave one last look at her with a chilling grin before turning his attention to the little girl who had moved onto the lawn. Taking a slow step back, he moved into the shadows, where he would wait.
Wait and watch. Just like always.
