A/N- Alright, Sorry for you Last Kiss lovers. I am in the middle of typing up that chapter that I promised you, the five page chapter. But, then this struck me. How Sammy Valdez got married and could be realated to Leo. It made me think of what if Hazel never moved, and then Gaea showed Hazel the vision. AND BOOM! This happened. So chill, I am making up for lost time in the Last Kiss.
Summary- Sammy Valdez never did forget about Hazel Levesque. Not on his wedding day, not on the day his son was born, not when his daughter was born, not when his twin granddaughters were born, not even when his great grand son was born.
Mr. and Mrs. Valdez.
Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Valdez.
Sammy and Hazel Valdez.
No, Sammy Valdez never forgot about Hazel Levesque. His horse loving, ex-girlfriend. His cocoa colored princess, who abruptly left New Orleans.
He never forgot her, not even one detail.
He remembered that she loved to draw.
She loved horses.
She got hurt a lot.
He remembered that her mother was horrible to her.
So was her dad.
In fact, she never knew her dad.
He never forgot anything, about Hazel Levesque.
He knew he loved her.
He thought, she loved him back.
Apparently not.
But, maybe, if she loved him- she would've never moved away.
Maybe, if Hazel Levesque never moved away, it would've been her walking down that isle in that faded picture, inside the battered old photo album, tucked away in a certain Maria Valdez's attic collecting dust.
Maybe, if Hazel Levesque never moved away, there wouldn't be a Pablo and a Marisol Valdez. Or, if there was, they would've been born to her- not Desiree Alejandro-Valdez.
Maybe, if Hazel Levesque never moved away Esperanza Valdez would've had different blood in her, and chosen a different path.
Maybe, if Hazel Levesque never moved away Leo Valdez would've had blood of two Gods in him. One Roman, and one Greek. Pluto and Hephaestus.
But, Hazel Levesque did indeed move away. So, it wasn't Hazel Levesque in that faded picture, inside the battered old photo album. It wasn't Hazel Levesque-Valdez who gave birth to Pablo and Marisol Valdez. It wasn't Hazel Levesque-Valdez who made Esperanza Valdez another path. And so, it wasn't Hazel Levesque-Valdez who gave godly blood to Leo Valdez.
All because Hazel Levesque moved away before anything could happen. But, maybe, if Hazel Levesque never moved, Sammy and herself, could've lived happily together.
