Dear Readers,

First, an apology for how long it has been since I updated this story. A lot has happened.

I've graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in engineering, and I have a full time job in my field. I also recently got married to an amazing woman who I have been with for three years. I am a month away from 4 years with my employer. My wife and I are house shopping.

I haven't had time to dedicate to writing anything for several years now, even though I have an outline for a Bleach story and a Harry Potter story. The one thing I have no done, is figure out where I wanted this story to go. It's the first I ever wrote, and I wrote the first 9 chapters by hand when I was about 16. I am 26 now, and I have never really known exactly where I wanted it to go after Part 1. I have had the last chapter written for years, and I know a few scenes I definitely wanted to include, but the final beats of the plot never solidified.

I still want to see this story to completion, but I am not sure where to start. At this point, I would need to re-read the series again (although I can still recite most of the prophecies from memory), and probably re-write big sections of the story so far.

I have considered giving the story up for adoption, but I have seen how poorly that sometimes goes. I have considered marking it as abandoned and cutting my losses, but that seems like such a terrible way to end things. I have considered scrapping the plan for 27 chapters and tie a neat bow on wherever the current plot ends and call it a day. I am open to suggestions on what to do. There is still a half formed outline for how Part 2 and Part 3 are supposed to resolve, but not nearly enough for the full story as originally intended.

So, this is my notice that I have NOT forgotten this, and I do still think about it regularly (when I clean my notebook shelf and leaf through pages and pages of notes).
