The first time Molly went on a date with a girl, she was sixteen and didn't tell a soul. It's hard to keep secrets when you live within 50 feet of all of your friends and nearly a dozen of your cousins, but Molly had experience. She didn't want them whispering about her before she had made any decisions herself. She borrowed the map from James with a muttered excuse and snuck dinner up to a balcony. She spent the first half of the date glancing at the map. By the second half, there were other things on her mind.

Hey, friends. Dang, it's been a while. It hasn't felt like that long...

Halfway through writing the last chapter, I realized I wasn't sure if "Rory" was a girl or a boy, so I purposely avoided giving Rory a gender. And then I was kind of stuck on that idea, and this came from that. Would hesitate to put any kind of label on Molly yet (clearly she's not ready for that either), but I might keep playing with it...

ILY.
