We know Dan said fans loved the Gibby smackdown and so it stands to reason there may be another one.

And so Nora came back…

And Nora wanted revenge. The iCarly team including Gibby had been targets. She had hated Gibby most of all. Gibby who had been depressed about Carly and her most recent boyfriend that she had. Gibby who was just coming to terms with his feelings for her. Gibby who had just spilled it all to Spencer during a game of badminton in the Shay living room. That Gibby.

But then at the end of it all, when the climax came, Gibby and Nora wrested ferociously on the ground… again. Gibby emerged victorious… again. Carly and the gangs life was saved… again.

Carly, having been tipped off by big mouthed Spencer regarding Gibby had been confused. She spent most of the time in this whole mess wondering what might happen if they didn't get out alive and what it meant that Gibby actually liked her. But seeing Gibby, not shirtless like last time but still a hero, coming up off the floor and granting them their freedom and safety the confusion melted away.

She stood in front of Gibby for a split second of not knowing what to do. She could hug him like last time but then everyone could take turns hugging Gibby (except Sam) and it wouldn't be as special. Sure, she was grateful, but there was so much more. There was that feeling welling inside of her and Gibby stood there, arms open wide, expecting the hug. Carly gave him more. She went straight into his arms and kissed him.

Sam and Freddie stood back, much less surprised than they could have been.

"Carly has this thing about people saving her life," Freddie explained as the two broke apart as if no further explanation was needed.

"It's her foreign bacon," supplied Sam.

"Sweet," exclaimed a clueless Gibby and wrapped his arms around the smiling Shay. "I can dig that."

"Shut up you guys. Gibby's a hero." And would reap all of the benefits of Carly's adoration.

Freddie couldn't think of anyone more worthy of it than Gibby. Even when the two of them kissed again, he laughed and put an arm around Sam. "Go Gib!"

"Not jealous?" Sam asked.

"Why would I be?" He raised an eyebrow. "I've got the real thing right here."

"So Spencer spilled the beans huh?" Gibby finally got a chance to ask Carly.

"Are you kidding? He was hopping around the room like he needed to pee until I finally told him to come out with it."

"Some confidant." Gibby pouted.

"It's a good thing I feel the same then."

"I could kind of tell that by the kissing."

"Mmm Hmm. Want some more?"

"You bet."

And so Gibby was a very happy Gibby indeed.
