A/N: A short piece I wrote. It is placed on the 10th anniversary of the war.

-We Will Never Forget-

It was a nice day. The sun was shining and it was nice and warm. The school year was almost over. Despite the wonderful weather, there was a silence present over the grounds of Hogwarts. All was still and silent. There was not even the slightest hint of a breeze. There was no one outside. All was still and quiet.

Though nobody was outside, in the Great Hall, a mass of people had gathered there. There were thousands of people gathered in there. Some were standing, others sitting, and others kneeling on the ground. And though there were a great number of people, the hall was absolutely silent. No one was making a sound.

The Hall was slightly dimmer than it was outside. The usual long tables had been removed and replaced with many chairs for the people, though there were not enough chairs for everybody. The hall looked no different from 10 years ago, except for the fact that the reconstruction had finished. It did have a huge banner hung in the front of the hall. As people looked at the banner, they wept silent tears. Everyone bowed their heads in respect. There were no words to be said. This was a time for silence and respect.

On the banner were there words, "We Will Never Forget." Around those words were the names for all who died to save the world and give it a better future.

As tears streamed down their cheeks, everyone knew that they would never forget.

A/N: We will never forget. Remember this day forever, and honor those that died.
