I stood nervously in Godric's room, the dress that Pam picked out for me feeling far to tight and the heels like death traps. For the millionth time I adjusted the dress and fidgeted in the heels. I don't look anywhere close to appropriate, how is anyone going to respect me as a person if I can't even respect myself right now. I was freaking out. Godric was on the other side of the door waiting silently for me to tell him to come in and Isabel had Marie in the room next door...

"Godric..."

Within a second he was standing in front of me. Something flashed in his eyes before he hid whatever it was well, so I chose to ignore it. "You were right about the dress... you look far to... I imagine I'm going to be in some fights tonight." I laughed at him, even if I could tell he was serious.

"They don't stand a chance though Godric." He got this playful look in his eyes. "Does Elizabeth have a crush on the big bad vampire?"

"That would kinda require you to be big and bad and no offense but you remind me of a teddy bear." The next second I found myself pinned against the wall but for some reason I wasn't startled. "For your own survival do not call a vampire a teddy bear." I was a tad bit nervous though but thats only cause he had my hands pinned above my head.

"What are you going to do then?"

"For now do what we have to to ensure your protection." He said shooting a pointed look at my neck.

"So it's feeding time?" I mocked Eric and he chuckled. "Can you at least release my wrists?"

"So you like being pressed against the wall." I didn't say anything to that... cause then I'd have to admit to him that I liked being pressed against him. "You are not as nervous as you were before." He said before he leaned closer to my neck, when I felt his lips against my neck I had to bite my bottom lip before I embarassed myself. Just look at you Amy... lusting after the vampire who has saved your life over and over. I couldn't find it in me to care at that moment, I was just hyper aware of Godric, every part of him, where he touched my skin it felt hot and I expected it to be cold...

I expected it to hurt when he sunk his fangs into my neck but all there was is a little pinch and then a feeling I can't find the words to describe, I am sure I would have clung to him if he hadn't trapped my hands. I felt him move and then something cold slide across my thigh before I heard a odd sound and saw he had cut his wrist, he brought it up to my lips but didn't force me, giving me the option as he released only one of my hands.

I somewhat hesitantly brought his wrist closer and wrapped my lips around the wound and drank. I was surprised at the taste and understood how there are humans out there who get addicted to V, I was going to have to be careful. I blushed when a moan escaped me, it got to be a bright red when Godric released my other arm to wrap my legs more firmly around his waist and I could feel his arousal.

He restracted his fangs and licked the bite mark. I decided one thing at the moment, my body is a traitor. I released his wrist and wrapped my arms around his neck, feeling like I was going to fall. We both didn't move for a few moments and I could feel the tension taking over my body... oh god... what have we done? What if he regrets this? Did I do something to push him into this? Was this cause of the teddy bear comment? I mean I know we had to drink from each other to form a bond but It didn't have to be so... Oh god. Did I mess up?

"You are going to give me a headache with all your worrying. I do have one question for you, Can we both stop fighting this attraction now?" I looked up at him, pulling back slightly so we were eye to eye, I knew he could see my surprise clearly but within a moment that changed and I smiled at him. "You sure you want that?"

"Of course or I would not have asked."

"hmm okay Godric. I have one question for you now." He smiled, happiest I think I've ever seen him. "Since I am actually your human now can I get the hell out of this dress before you rip someones head off?" He laughed at that one. I watched as he looked me over. "Isabel did buy a extra... but you just look so delicious."

"Earth to Godric, remember that I will have to bend over to pick up whatever Marie drops and when that happens vampires will get to see my ass... and the bitch made me wear something I'm not getting into a discussion about."

"I could always look."

"...and I could ignore you for the entire night."

"I don't think you can ignore me, I was holding back the last time."

"Yeah we'll see."

It was when I heard Marie crying that I pushed Godric away and ran out of the room, heels be damned and cursed their exsistance when I skidded to a stop in front of Isabel's door. She opened it and gave me Marie back. "Sorry. I can not handle diaper duty again Liz, that is all you."

"You look good enough to eat in that dress!" Pam from behind me and I rolled my eyes as I turned to face her.

"Not interested Pam."

"No thats right you were seconds away from lip locking with my grand-maker."

"The only thing I'm seconds away from is taking this damn dress off and burning horrible heels from hell." She went quiet and glared icyly at me. I just walked back into Godric's room holding Marie, I was surprised that he didn't slip out of the room once I started changing her diaper. Even more surprised when he wrapped his arounds around my waist and kissed my shoulder once I was done.

"This is going to take some getting use to..." I smiled as I held Marie.

"You three look adorable... none of that while your entertaining the masses unless you want to become easy target number one." Eric said and that caused me to roll my eyes. Godric growled low. "We'll be fine." I told him. "If that makes you feel better to believe that go ahead, Do not do anything foolish while your in there." He walked off. "He's always worrying about you Godric... He's a good guy underneath all that tough exterior. Still a jackass though."

I knew why Eric was warning me, One small mistake and it could cost us greatly. It wasn't a price I would be willing to pay either. "You said Isabel got me another dress... Can I see that one?" He smiled before speeding off only to return the next second with a slightly on the dressy side but fairly simple light blue dress that was very modest with a cinched waist. When I caught his smirk and went to say something he shook his head and held the dress out to me. I took it and he took Marie.

Once I was dressed again... I took Marie from Godric and wordlessly followed him out into the living room, the vampires were just starting to show up. I stood on his left, Eric on his right. I hoped no one took offense to this... maybe I should stand behind him I can't remember... what was it Eric told me again? My inner monolouge was cut off when Godric spoke. "Calm down Elizabeth. Your fine." I took a deep breath forcing myself to calm down and he smiled.

"Well.. colored me shocked, I assumed since you've spent the better of your years companionless that this talk of you having a little human pet was just a rumor. I can see I was wrong and she's such a pretty little thing. Doesn't eat much does she? You know humans do tend to get ill rather quickly without the proper nutrients." A younger looking man approached us and from the first words out of his mouth I wasn't sure excatly how to take this... "I see you let her keep a pet." At his words I held Marie closer. "No harm meant child, It would be suicide to cross your Master."

"Trevor, I see you still haven't grown out of your annoying habits." Eric chimed in.
"Well it is part of my charm you know, why would I change such a big part of myself?" The vampire, Trevor smirked at Eric looking him up and down. "I see you haven't changed either, still got your body on advertisement for the women."

"Yes, well they do enjoy it." I had to bite back a smartass comment, as a blonde woman approached Eric.
