Damn, I am on a roll, the posts in one day, granted this one is it's own story, and not a long waited chapter, but still. This idea has bothered me for a while: What if some of the Gods, reincarnated, took a Greek Myth class? Try and figure out who they are, at least two are give aways, but the third is harder...
He sat in the back of the room, idly doodling on a piece of paper. He looked up as he stifled a yawn. He had taken this class for the easy A, but had never imagined he would also be getting naptime. He glanced around the room. Most of the students displayed their normal level of attentiveness.
Right in front of him sat a girl with brown hair so dark, it almost looked black. She seemed to be avidly taking notes, but he knew better. Chances were she was either working on homework for another class, or was doing some writing for her personal collection. She didn't have to be in this class, but her guidance counselor had wanted her to take at least one 'easy' class.
In the front corner of the room, right next to the door, sat a blond girl. Of the three of them, she was the only one paying attention. However, it had little to do with her being a good student, and more to do with the fact that the teacher was talking about her.
"And that is the myth of how Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, was born," the teacher finished. "Any questions?"
The boy smirked, and raised him hand. Multiple people in the class groaned, and the teacher almost rolled his eyes.
"Was she really naked?" he asked.
The blond girl turned to glare at him. Her sea-blue eyes flashed with anger. The teacher sighed, and the other students just ignored him and started to pack their stuff.
"According to the myth, yes," the teacher told him.
"Cool," he grinned.
The girl in front of him chuckled quietly, and the blond girls glare intensified. He just smiled at her and, once the teacher turned him back, waved.
"Brush up on the beginning of the Trojan War for next class," the teacher said just before the bell rang.
The boy was assaulted by the blond girl once he reached the hallway.
"What?" he grinned, acting like his arm wasn't sporting a new bruise.
"Naked, really?" she seethed.
"It was a legitimate question," he shrugged.
"No, it was not," she countered.
"I was making sure they still have their facts straight," he grinned.
The girl raised her arm again, but it was caught by the brunette girl from the class.
"Not here," she warned them.
The blond flipped her hair and stalked down the hallway.
The brunette sighed as she watched the blond leave. Once the blond was out of view, she turned to the boy. He grinned as his eyes caught her grey ones.
"Yes?" he asked innocently.
"You need to stop antagonizing her," she said.
"Once she stops making it so much fun," he grinned before they separated.
How was it? I like it, but review and let me know what you think;)
