Serena made her way through the security corridor of the ship, passing through the network of infra red beams. It was a difficult enough task considering the number of beams across the hallway, but it was only complicated further by the knowledge that she was on a schedule.

As she slid under another beam, finding herself about two thirds of the way to the vault, she checked her watch.

"Serena, you have..."

"Two minutes." She whispered. "Yeah, I know."

"The security protocols are all in place." He told her. "No one is heading towards the secure floor. Are you at the vault yet?"

"Give me a chance would you?" She asked him, flipping over the last couple of beams, landing by the vault door. She pulled off the goggles as she found herself by the door. "Alright, I'm here."

"OK, the console should be right in front of you." He told her. "Take the device from your belt and pace it against the screen in front of you."

Serena did as she was told, holding the device up. A red beam of light ran down the screen, scanning the device. She heard a bleep as the screen turned green, and a device slid out the door.

"Alright, something else just came out." She told him. "It looks kind of like the thing my optometrist used on my last visit."

"That's the retinal scan." He confirmed. "Put in the contact lenses, and press your face to it."

She was a little reluctant, having never had any need for glasses or contact lenses. She eventually managed to get them in, before allowing the scanner. Another bleep confirmed it had been accepted. Serena blinked out the contact lenses, grateful to get them out.

"Alright, you only have about 45 seconds before the guard comes around." He reminded her. "The keyboard should be accessible now, the password is Argentum."

"Argentum?" She asked, typing it out.

"It's Latin for Silver." He told her. Serena just rolled her eyes as the door lock opened up. Pushing the door open, she slipped inside, closing it behind her, just before the guard came into view. She paused for a moment, but when no alarm was raised, she breathed a sigh of relief as she turned to the room.

"Alright, I'm in." She told him, making her way through the vault room.

"OK, can you see the sword?" He asked her.

"Not yet." She told him. She continued to search, finally finding the sword sitting on a table a little way before her. "OK, I've got it."

"Do you see any kind of wires or anything else attached to it?" He asked her.

"No." She replied. She reached out, taking the sword in her hand, and lifting it gently. She breathed a sigh of relief as the alarm failed to sound. "Alright, I've got it."

"OK, make the switch." Peter instructed her. "I'm just keeping tabs on the guards doing the rounds."

Serena detached Stone Cutter from her back, taking off the strap and placing it on the table. She attached it to the other sword, slinging it over her shoulder.

"Alright, we're good to go." She told him.

"OK, hold up." He told her. "Wait...alright, he's moved off. You now have four minutes."

Serena opened the door, slipping outside, before closing the door behind her. Slipping her goggles back on, she made her way back through the beams, this time going a little more quickly. She got to the end of the corridor, and slipped out the door onto the balcony and closed it behind her, before taking a deep breath.

"Alright, I'm out." She told him.

"Alright!" He called out excitedly, punching the air in his excitement as he heard this. "Just make your way back to the room..."

"Hold on." She told him.

"What is it?" He asked as she made her way to the edge of the balcony. She strained her eyes to see, this time she was sure she could see someone moving around one of the lower decks.

"There's someone else out here." She told him. "He seems to be doing something with the life boats."

Peter furrowed his brows as he heard this. He moved over to another computer and checked something out. "That can't be right."

"What's going on?" Serena asked him.

"Serena, I just checked my GPS. We're off course." He told her. "However, the course on the ship's navigation computer is showing us on the original course."

"So?" Serena asked him.

"OK, my GPS is precise to a square foot, there's no way my course is wrong..." He told her, "Oh shit, that can't be good!"

"What is it?" Serena asked him.

"In about half an hour we'll no longer be in international waters!" He told her.

"OK, this guy's moving pretty quickly." Serena told him. A second later, she ducked down as an explosion ripped through the lifeboats. She was then thrown to the floor as another explosion came from above. Looking up, she realised the helicopter was also gone.

"Serena!" Peter called out over the communicator. "Serena!"

"I'm fine, but this guy just took out the lifeboats and the helicopter!" She told him as the alarms began. She turned around as a couple of guards came out of the secure floor, carrying cattle prods. "OK, this can't be good!"

"Serena, get back to the room!" Peter told her as he started frantically working on his equipment. "We need to get out of here!"

"That's easy for you to say!" Serena replied as the guards attacked her.

Back in the states, Mia and Kevin arrived in the living room, finding Mentor Ji, Jayden, Antonio, Mike and Emily all sitting around eating breakfast. Jayden smiled to see them sitting so closely. They had all had more than a few surprises as a result of the last few days, but none more so than Kevin and Mia.

"Morning." He greeted them. "You came back kind of late."

"We had some things we needed to talk about." Kevin told him, putting his arm around Mia. The Pink Ranger couldn't help smiling at the gesture. It had always been one of her deepest fears that her past would drive a wedge between her and Kevin. She had come to love him in a way she wasn't sure she could.

"Well, Emily and I were thinking of heading to the movies after morning training." Mike told them. "You're welcome to come with us."

"Thanks, but I think I'd like to just have a quiet day." Mia told him. Mike just nodded in understanding. While he didn't know the full story, like the others, he now knew that Mia had lost a child two years previously. Going back, living that time again had to bring back a lot of painful memories for her. He had hoped that maybe going with them would help take her mind off it for a while. However, he could understand why she might want to have a little time to herself.

"Well it sounds like it could be fun." Jayden said with a smile. "Antonio, didn't you say you were expecting a slow day today?"

"I guess taking one day off wouldn't hurt." He replied with a little smirk. "So what's playing?"

Back on the ship, Serena had finished taking care of a couple of guards and started to make her way quickly back to their cabin, avoiding further battles where she could. She didn't know who had caused the explosions, all she knew was that because of them, the alarms had been raised.

As she got to the door to her room, she checked around quickly for signs of guards, before slipping inside.

"All hell's breaking loose." She told him. "I hope you have a dinghy in..."

"As a matter of fact he did." Silvers told her as she turned around, seeing him and half a dozen guards standing in the room. Peter was kneeling on the floor, his hands cuffed behind his back. One of the guards had a gun levelled at the back of his head. He looked to Serena apologetically. As one of the guards came over, carrying a set of handcuffs, Serena just held her hands where they could be seen. She couldn't risk anything while Peter was at risk. The guard secured her hands behind her back and removed the sword, before pulling off her hood.

Silvers took the sword from her, and inspected it, before looking to her incredulously.

"I have no idea why you wanted to destroy my boats..."

"We had nothing to do with that!" Serena called out. "Seriously, all we wanted was the sword!"

"Do you really expect me to believe that?" He asked her. "Take them to the secure deck, and keep them separated. I have some damage limitation to do with the other guests."

Serena felt one of the guards grabbing her arm, and felt like he was going to rip it out of the socket. One of the others grabbed Peter, dragging him with them. She didn't know what they were planning to do, but she could only figure that whatever it was, it wouldn't be good.

Back in the states, Emily, Mike, Jayden and Antonio arrived at the theatre after morning training. Emily held onto Mike tightly as they approached the theatre, bouncing with excitement.

"Alright, well we have a couple of options." Mike told them. "We have Abduction, The Smurfs or..."

"I'm afraid that's all they have." Jayden told them, pointing to the screen. "The other theatres are sold out."

"Aw man!" Mike grumbled. Looking around, he could see a fair amount of kids hanging around. "The schools must be on a ditch day or something."

"Well, I kind of like the idea of..."

"Emily, we are not watching The Smurfs." Mike interrupted her.

"Actually, I was thinking of Abduction." She told him with a little smile. "Taylor Lautner is just...wow!"

"OK, two tickets for The Smurfs it is." Mike sighed, taking out some money. Jayden looked to Antonio, who just nodded.

"You know, I really kind of like the idea of Abduction." Antonio commented. "I saw the trailers; it looks like it has a lot of great action."

"Yeah, it did look good in the adverts." Jayden agreed.

"Really?" Mike asked him. "I mean seriously, the guy who couldn't keep his clothes on in Twilight?"

He just shrugged his shoulders.

"Alright, I don't want to be the only one..."

"You know what, there's no law saying we have to all see the same movie." Jayden told him. "I mean, if you two really want to see The Smurfs, we could meet up afterwards."

"No, Emily said she wanted to see..."

"Say, do you have any money for popcorn?" Antonio asked Mike. He pulled out a ten dollar bill, which Mike snatched from him quickly.

"Alright, we'll see you later!" He replied. Jayden and Antonio headed off to the desk to get their tickets, at which Mike just smiled to Emily.

"NOW are you convinced?" He asked her. "They were desperate to see a movie by themselves."

"Maybe they just aren't into blue cartoon characters as much as I am." Emily suggested with a shrug.

"Hey, I thought you wanted to see the abs guy from Twilight." Mike commented. Emily just gave him a little smirk.

"You aren't the only one who knows how to manipulate people to get her own way." She replied cheekily. "Now, how about that popcorn?"

Back on the ship, Serena's head rolled backward as she was punched in the face by one of the guards. She was strapped into a chair in a security room on the deck with the vault. A couple of guards were working her over, as they questioned her.

"We'll ask you one more time. Who are you?" He screamed at her. Serena refused to say anything. Another guard jammed a cattle prod into her, sending a high voltage charge through her. Serena clenched her jaw tightly, trying to prevent herself from crying out in pain. In frustration, he punched her in the face again.

"That's enough." Silvers said as he arrived, carrying a sword in either hand. "I doubt she'll be able to tell us much of anything if you break that lovely jaw."

He put both swords down on the table, a little way from her.

"You said you only came here to steal this sword." He told her.

"Yeah, that's right." She told him.

"You see, I would accept that explanation, but that would still leave a big question. I hate questions." He told her. "That's the only reason you and your 'husband' haven't already been thrown overboard."

"It's pretty simple really; I stole the original and replaced it." Serena told him. "I was planning on getting it off the ship when we got back to port."

"You see, there's a little hole in that story." He told her. "You see, I had my expert inspect both swords. They're both Masamune blades."

He picked up one of the swords, showing it to her.

"Usually when someone plays 'the old switcheroo', they replace the original with a fake." He continued to explain. "So why exactly would you want to give me a sword of equal value?"

"I can't explain..."

"I think you can." Silvers interrupted her. "If you're willing to leave a multi-million dollar sword without blinking, that suggests that the other is somehow more valuable to you."

He put the sword back on the table, and activated an intercom.

"Bring 'Mr. Lance' in here please." He stated, making the air quotes. A short time later, Serena saw Peter being dragged into the room and being dumped on the floor. They had taken off his shirt, and from here, she could see he was treated no better than she was. He was covered in cuts, bruises and burns.

"Leave my husband..."

"I think we can drop the whole 'Mr and Mrs Lancer' thing don't you?" He asked her. "I've already confirmed that the real Mr and Mrs Lancer are nowhere near here. They were far from happy about the fun you've been having with their credit card. Indeed, they offered me a generous sum to put you into the ocean once we're finished here."

He grabbed Peter and had him forced to kneel before Serena, forcing him to face her.

"Something tells me from what you've been through already that you're not the kind of person who'll just start talking because of a little pain."

He picked up a cattle prod, sparking it menacingly.

"Of course, it will tell us a lot how much you're willing to let your little partner here suffer." He stated. Just then, he heard an explosion above them, followed by gunfire. He got onto the intercom.

"What's happening?" He asked. "Damn it, why is there gunfire?"

"It's Interpol!" A security guard called back. "They have us surrounded!"

"Interpol?" He asked. "But we're in international waters!"

"Not anymore." Peter told him. "Someone altered your course and put a program into your navigations system to make you think that. You've been heading into the territorial waters of..."

Just then, the door flew in. Kirk and Jarvis burst in, carrying MP5's. They took down the guards with a couple of short bursts of fire, before covering Silvers.

"Don't even think about it!" Kirk warned him. Some other agents, wearing uniforms came into the room along with Fox.

"Talk to me Fox." He told her.

"There are a few guards left, but we have control of the ship." She told him.

"Alright, get everyone assembled on the deck." Kirk told her. "Jarvis, bring these two."

It wasn't long before Peter and Serena found themselves on the main deck, where everyone had been assembled, covered by Interpol agents. Kirk came over to one, who shook his hand.

Serena couldn't hear what they were saying. Eventually, he came over, gesturing to Peter and Serena.

"Alright, these two." He commanded. They were grabbed roughly, and forced to their feet, at which they were dragged towards a helicopter that was waiting on the deck for them. Serena could see that it was being loaded with all of Peter's equipment and the swords. "They're coming with us."

As they were put onto the helicopter, Serena looked to Fox, who was just checking off the equipment, making sure they hadn't left anything behind.

"You've got some impressive stuff here." She commented. "Terrorism must pay well."

"Terrorism?" Peter asked her. "Wait, who else is coming?"

"You don't need to worry, this is a private flight." Kirk told him as he and Jarvis got onto the helicopter and shut the door.

"So it was you." Serena asked him. "You re-set the ship's course to bring it into territorial waters and therefore Interpol's jurisdiction, then you destroyed the boats and the helicopter so no one could escape."

"I don't know what you mean." He replied with a little smirk. "Of course, you have me at a disadvantage. I have no idea who you are."

"So what do you want with us?" Peter asked him. Kirk just shook his head.

"There'll be plenty of time to ask questions once we get to headquarters." He told him. "Which reminds me. Fox, gag and bag them would you?"

"With pleasure." She answered, pulling out a roll of duct tape. Serena struggled as she covered her mouth with the tape, while Jarvis did the same to Peter. Grabbing a black canvas bag, she pulled it over Serena's head, leaving her completely in darkness. Serena could feel her using more tape to secure the bag in place around her neck. Just then, she heard the engines starting and the helicopter lurched as it took off. She had no idea where they were being taken, or what would happen when they got there, but there was one thing that she was pretty sure of. She sincerely doubted that the people who took them were Interpol.

Fin.
