Title: Jack's Confession
Summary: A little scenario that popped into my head after watching "Immortal Sins" (episode 7 of Torchwood: Miracle Day). What if Jack was a practicing Catholic?
Spoilers: Very minor one from "Immortal Sins". Don't worry if you haven't seen it yet.
Disclaimer: Don't own Torchwood or anything associated with it. A glimpse into my bank account will prove that. Not Catholic either, so sincere apologies if I got any of the terms wrong.
Father Paul looked at his watch. It had been a slow day so far for confessions. During the past half hour, only one person had entered the confessional. He was about to doze off when he heard someone enter.
"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned."
The American accent was unmistakable.
"Is that you, Jack, my son?" the priest asked warily.
"Yes, Father."
Father Paul excused himself and exited the confessional. After closing the door, he spotted another priest in the sanctuary. "Father Christopher!"
"Yes, Father Paul?"
Father Paul beckoned his friend closer. "Would you do me a favor and take over for me for the 6 P.M. Mass?"
"Are you feeling ill?"
The priest shook his head. "Jack Harkness is in the confessional. It's been nearly a month."
Father Christopher nodded in understanding. "Coffee or Red Bull?"
