Ya stupid Boy!

Numbuh 60 wandered aimlessly through the halls of moon base. He didn't care where he went he just walked. He saw the people staring; none of them knew what had happened and he wanted it to stay that way, he didn't need their pity.

The one person in the KND who knew, the soopreeme leader, told him it would probably be best to go home and to just take the day off, but that left him alone and he didn't want to be alone. He didn't necessarily want to talk to anyone but he needed to know someone was there.

He was holding back the urge to cry pretty well considering the circumstances. He couldn't stand people to think he was weak even though deep down inside he knew they wouldn't.

He heard heavy footsteps behind him then yelling from a very loud, very unmistakable voice, and a few of the male operative ran past him scared out of their wits.

She walked past him then turned around after realizing who he was and started screaming, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU STOOPID BOY? YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DOWN AT THE ARCTIC BASE! DO YOU THINK THIS IS SOME KIND OF JOKE? YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO SET A STANDARD FOR THE CADETS YOU TRAIN NOT UP HERE SKULKING BECAUSE YOUR GIRLFRIEND DUMPED YOU OR WHATEVER!"

That did it for Patton. "YOU THINK THIS IS ABOUT A GIRLFRIEND! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THE HALF OF IT! YOU'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YOU'RE A SOULLESS WITCH WHO ONLY CARES ABOUT HERSELF AND HAS NO FEELINGS!" he went down to a whisper , "my life will never be the same and I-I don't know what to do next.", he said while a single tear ran down his face that tear followed by another until they came down nonstop and he dropped to his knees.

Fanny was speechless. This boy had always been the strong one who never backed away from a fight and certainly never cried, and even though she would never tell him she considered him one of her closest friends.

She was unsure what to do so she dropped to her knees and lightly touched his shoulder "what happened?" she asked in an uncharacteristically soft voice.

"M-my baby sister d-died from c-cancer last night. Sh-she was only four. Why did this h-happen to h-her I d-don't understand." he said as he started sobbing.

Fanny did something completely out of character for her; she wrapped him up in a huge hug and just held him while he cried onto her shoulder. "Its going to be ok you'll get through this. You're strong like that you can handle anything. I believe in you Patton."

He looked up surprised and said, "Did you just call me Patton?"

She blushed and said "We're probably on a first name base by now"

"Ok Fanny" he said. "Oh and thanks" he said before leaning over and kissing her full on the lips. His eyes popped open when he realized what he did. "s-sory" he stammered out before jumping up and running off.

Fanny put her hand up to her lips then smiled. A boy rounded the corner surprised to see numbuh 86 on her knees in the middle of the hallway hand at her lips smiling. He just stood there dumbstruck.

"WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT STOOPID BOY? GET BACK TO WORK!" she yelled. She smiled again when he was out of sight thinking about her first kiss.
