Seven chapters and things seem to be slowly getting put in motion. Now this is an introduction to a new character I don't know what I'm going to specifically do with her but she is important to the story. Also depending on how you like her I may or may not keep her…so let me know if you like her or not! I do believe that in this or the next chapter I'll have Carlisle and Bella meet. Enough of my rambling and onto the story!

Disclaimer: I don't own anything except my OC's and the plot!

Chapter 7 ? POV

We were finally unpacked in a homely house in the outskirts of Forks, Washington. I was putting away all of my clothes in the master bedroom when I thought I heard a knock on the front door. Pausing in my unpacking I brushed my hair off to the side of my face. Looking around my room I saw that my brother was busy out in the back of our house so I quickly made my way to the front door. Standing in front of it I spoke carefully. "Who is it?" I didn't hear anything so I slowly opened the door to see a letter with my name on it. Narrowing my eyes at it I looked around. Unable to see that anyone was around I picked it up and closed the door. Frowning I walked back towards my room and tried to think of anyone who would leave a letter like that. Shaking my head I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Stop being so paranoid and just open it." I muttered as I stopped in the middle of the stairway. Carefully opening it I felt a smile curl my lips as relief flooded through me. It was from Uncle Vladimir and Uncle Stefan. Re-reading it quickly I shook my head at their antics.

Our usually distant yet overprotective Uncles were just checking in and reminding me to make sure we both go to school. Folding it I put the letter back carefully when I heard the back door shut as a set of heavy footsteps headed towards me and the stairway. Soon enough I saw my brother hurriedly walking towards me with a letter as well. He had a small annoyed smile on his face but he generally looked happy. Raising an eyebrow I spoke. "They left you one too?" He nodded before speaking. "Yeah. As usual they are too fast to find. Did they remind you too?" Laughing I nodded then replied. "Yeah little brother we're supposed to go to school and make sure we have everything. The usual." Frowning he cocked his head and asked. "Really? They warned me to watch our backs." My smile faded as I felt his sincerity in his words. Opening mine again I re-read it and noticed that there was something on the back. Turning it over I noticed that there was a p.s. for me to read. Reading the small four sentenced paragraph I felt a little uneasy about it. Looking at my brother again I spoke quickly. "Well then let's get to it." He agreed quickly as I went back to my room to finish unpacking.

Hours later….

Once my brother and I got most of the unpacking done we decided to go eat out for our first night in a new town to get used to it a little. We found this nice restaurant near the police station to eat at. Both of us enjoyed not making our meal for the night.

- With Bella at Forks High School- Bella POV

The pull has been getting worse the past few weeks. I can't concentrate long enough to go through classes and Charlie has noticed even more at home when I burnt our dinner last night. Sighing for the fifth time in a row I noticed that Alice was watching me like a hawk. Raising an eyebrow I turned to try to listen to our teacher for the sixth time in a row. It took all of my willpower from using our species' ability to talk to each other without drawing attention from the humans. The pain in my chest twanged. I felt her eyes reluctantly leave me as our teacher called on her to answer a question since she seemed to be distracted. Frowning at the fake cheerful voice that she uses to dazzle the teachers I felt anger well as they dazedly looked away from her. Mentally growling at her arrogance and abuse of power I felt something dark snap within me. Another painful tug and pull as I tried not to clutch at my chest. All too soon I heard the teacher sharply bark. "Miss Swan! Pay attention!" Reluctantly turning to them I spoke as politely as I could. "My apologies. I just don't feel well sir." Tug and pain again this time I mentally cried out from the pain. He frowned at me and spoke. "All the same pay attention." Many of our classmates tittered about me as we settled back into the lesson. It was getting worse as my mind seemed to just concentrate on just the pull. As the bell rang the Principal's voice sounded over the speaker. "Miss Swan to the office, Miss Swan to the office please." Feeling a bit of dread as some classmates looked at me. I heard Alice chirp at me as she danced towards me. Pain and a pull. Please tell me this ends! I thought as I slowly registered the question. "Do you want me to go with you Bella? I know you're not feeling well and I want to make sure you make it to the office!" Shaking my head I spoke weakly and faked a cough. "No thank you Alice. I'll be fine. I think it's just Charlie come to check up on me since I wasn't feeling well this morning." Frowning she replied. "Are you sure Bella? You don't look so well." Shaking my head I forced a polite smile and spoke. Another stronger pain as my mind seemed to grow weaker. "My answer stands Alice I'll be fine." Once she danced away to her next class I slowly put away my things and trudged towards the office. Concentrating on my chest I felt it twinge and pull me urgently towards the office. Frowning I tried to think of a reason why it would do that I slowly looked up when Charlie's voice registered in my mind. "Bella?!" Blinking I looked up as I felt a powerfully odd twinge again as my mind seemed to shut down. It was then that I knew that something was terribly wrong. I felt Charlie's hand on my shoulder when I heard the Principal's frantic voice slowly filter through. "Quick! Someone call an ambulance!" Trying to not instinctively curl in on myself I heard Charlie trying to talk to me. My mind receded even more as the pain and pull seemed to grow with every human moment. I didn't register anything after that as my eyes closed as I felt myself fall to the ground when a pair of arms that wasn't my Mate's grab me. Frantic voices slowly filtered through as I tried to get away from the person. It was then that I heard a male speak from somewhere. "Hello Charlie?" I didn't hear anything but those two words go around my head as I felt my instinct to find that male flare to life fiercely. Then another set of words that seemed to be directed at me. "Isabella? Stay calm okay? Your father is driving you to meet me at my home." Whimpering as my instincts warred with the pain and my mind. Whimpering I felt these set of words replace the first two immediately. Focusing on those words I knew the male Charlie called was my Mate. Who ironically was my doctor….I couldn't tell what was going on as I focused on the pain again along with my Mate's last words to me….

Okay so I know I don't usually do a cliff hanger like this but I will say one thing I think this is a good way to introduce some part of the extreme side of the bond some Mate pairs can have in the vampire world. Depending on the vampires they can have different reactions especially since Bella knows a bit more than Carlisle until he spoke with Peter, Char and Jasper. Now this is the reaction from not meeting when both of them are in the area. As you know the bond is hard to ignore for the vampires from the way some have explained it and what is led to be believed by the books themselves. I thought this approach would be a unique way to introduce the characters without it seeming too cliché. Now I will hopefully get to explain this from Peter and Char's view since they are a mated pair along with Emmett and Rose's experiences but I will not worry about it until the next chapter or so.
