*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

Kurama groaned as he opened his pretty green eyes and looked at the annoying alarm clock. "I hate you." He said tiredly and reached over to smack the button.

When silence filled the room once more, he relaxed and started to sit up, only to be pulled back down by a strong pair of arms.

Kurama smiled as he watched his lover pull him closer and cuddle right up to his chest. "Hiei, love, please let go, I have to get ready for school." He chuckled at just how cute the fire demon looked.

"Mmm…K'rama." Hiei said in his sleep and pressed his face into Kurama's neck. "Stay." Kurama almost gave in, but he knew that if he was late for school it would cause problems.

"Hiei, please," Kurama tried for a bit more forceful this time as he gently shook the fire demon's shoulder. "Let me go."

"No!" Hiei said, stubborn even in his sleep. His grip tightened and he snuggled closer. "Warm…" He murmured cutely, his face relaxed in the absolute cutest expression you can imagine on an adult Hiei.

Kurama couldn't help the small smile that stretched across his face. "If I moved, would you be cold?" He asked, teasing the sleeping fire demon.

"Mm…yes." Hiei responded groggily, not at all awake. He was way too comfy for that. Hiei burrowed into the warmth of Kurama's chest so more and nuzzled his chest gently. "Stay…"

Kurama glanced at the clock, school was going to start in a half hour…he still had to get ready…he tried to get up again but Hiei's grip tightened around him.

"Stay!" He growled in his sleep, and seemed to shove himself on top of the fox to make him stay. The red head's body shook with his laughter.

"I suppose…I can skip one day." Kurama said, deciding that he was too warm to get out of bed. "I'll just stay home for the day then. One day can't hurt." With that, Kurama wrapped his arms around the fire demon and fell back asleep.

It only took a few more hours before Kurama began to wake up. "Mmm…" He rolled over and glanced at the clock. He shot straight up, his hair flying everywhere. "I skipped school!" That was something he had never dared attempt in his human life, he prided himself on a perfect record!

"Hn." Hiei sounded amused for some odd reason as he watched the fox from his position against the headboard.

"It's all your fault Hiei!" Kurama jumped out of bed and started to rush around to get ready. "If you hadn't been so darn cute, I wouldn't have stayed at home!" Kurama was struggling to pull a pair of pants on to go explain everything to his mother.

Kurama's head snapped over when he heard Hiei laughing. "What's so funny? Can't you see that I'm mad?" Kurama demanded.

Just then the door opened and Shiori poked her head in, "What's wrong Shuichi? I heard you yelling…" She looked concerned.

"Oh mother, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to skip school today, I was just so comfortable and it was just so warm…I guess I fell back asleep easily. I did stay up rather late studying." Kurama said, then looked confused when she started to giggle and Hiei started to laugh again.

"Shuichi, you can be pretty funny when you want to be. I never knew someone could skip school on a Saturday." She giggled, again.

"…Saturday?" Kurama looked at the calendar then glared over at his little lover who was practically howling with laughter from the bed.

"You little demon! You knew all along! That's why you didn't let me go! You'll pay for this!" Kurama jumped on the bed and started to attack the little demon.

With a smile, Shiori shut the door and left them in peace, ignoring any extra noises that slipped from the bedroom for the rest of that beautiful Saturday.
