"Jerome! Why are you so upset over this?" I shouted at the blonde haired boy who was across my dorm room.

"I just am, Trixie! He's... sleazy!" Jerome yelled back, trying to find the right word. He still managed to use the same heat in his voice that was in mine.

"He's NOT sleazy! He's a good guy! But you wouldn't know what one of those are!"

You see, Jerome had found out from Alfie, who found out from Amber, who found out from Nina, who found out from Fabian, who found out from Mick, who found out from Mara, who found out from me, that I'm going on a date with Seamus Diaden. He plays guitar, writes songs, wears all black- my type of guy! For reason unknown to me, Jerome got really upset.

"No, he's a player! He lours girls in with his mysteriousness and then dumps them when he gets what he wants!" Jerome shouted.

"Sounds familiar, doesn't it?" I inquired. Jerome's cheeks flushed a slight pink, but he didn't let his embarrassment show in his eyes.

"We're not talking about me, we're talking about you and this Seamus fellow!" He shouted. "You shouldn't be going out with him!"

"We're going on one date, Jerome! ONE! It's not like we're plotting to run off and get married, for Merlin's sake!"

"That doesn't matter! That's one too many! You should go out with someone better for you!"

"And who's better for me, Jerome?" I asked. My glare was boring into his head and he glanced down at his feet. His cheeks were blazing pink again.

"I dunno..." He mumbled.

"No, I think you do know! Tell me who, Jerome! I would love to hear it!" I yelled with sarcasm dripping from my words.

"Alright, me." Jerome stated simply and threw his shoulders back with confidence. I felt my heart stop and my eyes widened.

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked in a confused tone.

"You heard me," Jerome said and took a few strides towards me. "I said, me."

"And why would I do that, Jerome?" I snapped, getting back to my loud volume. "Why in the bloody world would I go on a date with you! Give me one good reason!"

"Because I bloody love you!" The room fell silent. I think the whole world had gone into reticence at that precise moment. My heart was pounding off the charts and I swallowed hard.

"Jerome..." I trailed off in a whisper.

"What, Trixie? No snarky come back? You're not going to threaten to set me on fire again? Are you speechless?" Jerome shouted at me. I tried to find words, but I was paralyzed. Whether it was from shock, or fear because Jerome was screaming at me, I have no idea. All I could do was stare at him with wide eyes and my mouth agape- speechless. I finally regained mobility in my arm and reached up to touch Jerome's face. I ran the pads of my fingers along his jaw line and his features softened instantaneously. He leaned his cheek into my hand more and his eyes fluttered closed. My eyes searched his face for any signs of this being a prank, but I found nothing. Jerome's eyes opened once more and he met my gaze. I leaned forward and crushed his lips with mine. I snogged him with all the passion I could muster; years of wanting, bickering, lies, and overall lust and love were put into the kiss. He snogged me back with the same passion. Our tongues danced together brilliantly. Our bodies fit together perfectly- like we were made to be together. After minutes of wonderful snogging, we broke apart, panting and smiling like two idiots in love.
