For the records, when you ex and your former mortal enemy meet, things tend to get a little weird. Damon and Klaus' glaring at each other for the last minute in the Grill, being my case and point.

"Why did you want to talk to me?" Klaus asked as Stefan shifted slightly in his seat.

"About her."

"What about me?" I asked as Damon shot me a fake smile.

"Would you mind giving us some alone time, Amy?"

"Yeah." I nodded as Klaus heaved a sigh, glaring at them before turning to me.

"Love, how about you go get yourself a drink over there?"

"Nope."

"What's Luke doing here?" Stefan frowned, looking over my shoulder and my head shot up, then I looked to see Luke walking towards the bar.

"Okay then, I'm gone." I told them, then made my way to the bar before sitting down to the bar stool next to his, making him turn his head.

"Hey there." I smiled at him like a cute harmless snake, "How are you?"

"You know you still can't touch me, right?" Luke asked, and I rolled my eyes, letting out a huff of annoyance.

"Yep. Not touching you at all, you might as well be my shadow."

Luke snorted, then ordered himself a beer, "What do you want then?"

"We used to be friends, and I thought maybe-"

"I was never friends with you." Luke cut me off, "I was friends with you when you still had your emotions, back when you weren't this….soulless psychopath."

I frowned slightly, trying to control my expression.

"I thought I could drink something with you." I told him, shrugging and he gritted his teeth.

"You tried to kill me the last time we were together."

"And you made me feel even deader than usual the last time we were together." I answered him, "Which wasn't very kind of you."

"Yeah well-"

"Damon and Stefan are there talking to Klaus and they don't want me there." I cut him off and his eyes widened as he turned around to look at them.

"Hold on, Klaus is here?!"

I nodded "Right there, the one with the accent and all that." I told him "He looks like the love child of a lion and a Bond villain."

Luke stared at him for a couple of seconds, then turned to me.

"So you're officially working for him."

"For a short while."

"The guy who got your brother killed."

"Hence my point about the short while."

He shook his head slightly, then sipped his drink, "What're you playing at?"

"Well I couldn't possibly tell you that." I stated, "We still have some trust issues between us- maybe we should have a couple therapy."

His eyes widened and he looked at me as if he couldn't believe me. "Amy, we're not a couple."

"See, that'd be the first problem we'd talk about on couple therapy. Along with that stupid spell you have on you."

"You mean to keep her from killing me?"

I pouted, then sipped my drink, "I think the therapist can help you with these overreactions." I told him, then Klaus downed his drink and stood up from his seat.

"I'll see you around, love." He told me, then left the Grill. I frowned, looking at Damon and Stefan who seemed to be engaged in a very intense argument. I clinked my glass with Luke's, careful not to touch him.

"Excuse me." I said, and made my way to their table.

"So. Happy?" I smiled at them brightly, waiting for them to express their gratitude but they didn't seem to start on that.

"Thank you Amy, for fixing a meeting with the oldest vampire in the world." I tried to help them to form the sentence, but Damon gritted his teeth, then turned to Stefan.

"We need to talk to Bonnie."

"I was thinking the same thing."

"No, you need to thank me first." I crossed my arms, glaring at them, "Seriously, did your mother raise you this way? I mean I wouldn't know, I didn't have one but still."

"And also Mike and Will."

I raised my brows, that familiar, uncomfortable feeling taking over my body.

"Keep them out of this, or else I kill both of you." I smiled softly, "Clear?"

Damon rolled his eyes, as if he didn't take me seriously. "Amy, I don't expect you to understand, since you turned into a bitch and all-" he motioned at me "But let the grown ups handle this, okay?"

My eyes turned into slits and I clenched my jaw before I grabbed the bottle, broke in in a minute and dug the broken glass into Damon's hand which was on the table in a second.

"Damon, I don't expect you to understand since you don't understand shit-" I dug the broken glass deeper into his flesh "But let the-" my head swung back as a scream echoed in my eyes, making everything around me darken for a couple of seconds and I grabbed at my head, taking a deep breath.

"What the-" Damon wiped his hand off blood as soon as I raised my head, then his eyes widened. I wiped the blood coming from my nose, gritting my teeth.

"Anyway." I grabbed the hankie from the table, wiped any remains of blood and put it back to the table. "You're not being very polite."

Neither are you, and I will do worse if you try to harm him.

The voice echoed in my brain, making me roll my eyes while Stefan gawked at me.

"Vampires don't get nosebleeds."

"This one does." I shrugged "I always liked to break taboos anyway, otherwise I'd make a really boring vampire like you two. So what did he say?"

"Nothing you need to know."

I tilted my head to the right. "You guys owe me. Don't forget that."

"I don't think it's called owing you when we try to get you back."

"Not even I want to get back, so back the fuck off and chill." I inspected my fingernails, "You can't save me despite myself."

Damon looked deep in thought, then a smile pulled at his lips.

"That was her, wasn't it? That's why you had to pull away? That's why you're bleeding?"

I threw a pretzel to my mouth.

"None of your business."

"It is my business."

"Just because you slept with my humanity couple of times, doesn't exactly prove that you guys are the couple of the year." I stated, "There's not enough room for her and me at the same time, so deal with it."

Damon opened his mouth to retort, but Stefan stopped him.

"Don't." he said, "You will argue for nothing. We have more important stuff to do."

"It's really bumming me when you guys make plans without me."

"Because you're on enemy's side, Amy." Stefan reminded me and I shrugged.

"You know what they say about excuses." I told them, then grabbed my purse. "Well, I'm going to meet Klaus, maybe he can make me a part of the plans. See you guys later!"

Damon looked as if he wanted to say something, but he then gave up, so I blew a kiss to Luke, and walked out of the Grill.

"Don't you think it's really a jerk thing to do?" I asked Klaus who seemed to grow really tired of my rambling and clinging to the last pieces of his patience, "I mean, I can get a hint. No need to get all douchebag about it."

He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I mean, if you don't like me, just- you know, tell me or something. No need to get a witch to curse you!"

"I can get that curse lifted." Klaus offered after downing a huge gulp of his drink. We were in his house, he had called me there to share what I assumed to be very important information, but the more I thought about it, the more I got bummed over the Luke issue, therefore I decided that he was a good person to listen to my opinions on the matter.

"No, I want him to lift that curse. I want him to want to lift that curse."

He rolled his eyes, then walked to fill himself another glass.

"That's not even the problem! Do you know what the problem is?"

"No, but I'm sure you will enlighten me in a second."

"Yeah- he doesn't even seem to acknowledge there is something wrong with our relationship!"

"Maybe the fact that you do not have one."

"That's just a small insignificant detail." I replied, "If he loves me-"

"I'm sure he does not."

"If he loves me, he should show it with his actions, not his words. God!" I pouted, crossing my arms "Boys can be so very confusing."

"I wonder if I can compel you to shut up." Klaus wondered out loud and I shook my head,

"No, hunter family. I have vervain in places you don't wanna know." I bluffed, and he heaved a sigh, throwing his head back.

"So as a summary, my humanity and everything loves Damon like a pathetic puppy, but I like Luke because he would bleed more. It's not that hard to understand- but neither of them understands that-" I was cut off when doorbell rang, making Klaus stand up and walk to door to open it.

"Brother." I heard him greet someone, making me stand up in a flash, and not long after, I saw Elijah walking into the room with a perfect suit and attitude.

"Amy." He greeted me and I smiled.

"Hi Elijah, what're you doing here?" I raised my brows "Weren't things bad between you? Is this a truce? Can I watch it?"

"Amy, stop talking."

I pouted and sat back down "You're so mean to me."

Klaus ignored my comment, then turned to Elijah.

"So, brother? I wasn't expecting you."

Elijah clicked his tongue, looking at me. "Perhaps we should be alone."

"Perhaps not." Klaus said, even I could see he was trying to annoy Elijah in an uncharacteristic, immature way. Elijah heaved a sigh.

"I've come here to tell you that you will be making a big mistake if you go down that road."

I frowned, then Klaus grabbed his drink, making himself comfortable on the couch.

"Always trying to save my soul."

"This is bigger than your soul." Elijah said, "This is family. This is blood."

"And that will be justice."

"That will be revenge, that's all." Elijah said and I looked between them.

"Make me a part of this conversation." I told them, while they both ignored me

"Revenge sometimes means justice, brother." Klaus told him, and Elijah ran a hand over his face, as if praying for patience.

"Niklaus-"

"No." Klaus pointed at him "No. That is justice. You do not stand there, and try to teach me about justice when I have suffered-"

"The world is bigger than your sufferings, Nik!"

Klaus snorted, "Yeah well. You are still not changing my mind."

Elijah heaved a sigh, stealing a look at me, "Have you at least found out what you're looking for?"

"Almost."

"And you will-"

"Yes, our chattering friend in here will be helping me."

"Helping you with what?" I sat up straighter, "What are you guys talking about? What revenge?"

Elijah turned to look at him, as if waiting to hear Klaus' explanation, Klaus on the other hand only smiled and leaned back on the couch, swirling the drink in his hand.

"You will help me kill a family member of mine."
