Hello Readers! This is going to be a long post.

I am writing this note after one of my readers reached out to me on my tumblr account. I am well aware that it's been almost a year (maybe even more than that for some of my other stories) since I've last updated. But unfortunately the adult responsibilities have just really been taking over my life right now. Part of me hates saying that because I believe that if you're truly dedicated to something (especially writing) you'd find the time to do it.

That being said, between finishing up my requirements so I can get certified in professional dog training, training client dogs, finding job/figuring out how to start my own training business, and trying to edit my own book that I had written while in college, I don't have any room for fanfiction in my list of priorities. And recently, I've been contacted by an indie-game developer to write and develop a story for a 2D-sprite JRPG game. That alone has forced me to put a hold on my own book—but I'm trying to find a balance and compromise.

I know I've reassured you all that I would eventually finish these stories, but as time passes and more days, weeks, and months go by, I'm faced with the reality that the chances of me continuing to write them are slim to none. And even if I did find the time to go back to them, I'd have to take even more time to figure out where I was going with the story and plot—and some of these stories could use an entire make-over.

However having said that, I never close doors. Perhaps I'll find the time in the future to go back to these stories and render them anew. But I felt that I at least owed you all an explanation. I never wanted to be one of those authors that seemed like they dropped off the face of the Earth. I'm sorry to have let any of you down, and I appreciated each and every one of you who has favorited, liked, and reviewed my stories. You all were the reason why I wrote, and all of that stuff I just mentioned helped me become a better writer.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!
