Hey everyone! I know I sorta dissappeared for like a year and a half, but now I have a computer again! Yay! So I've written this one-shot for YouGotBurned's Contest as a celebration of my coming back. This story contains Ocs. You've been warned.
Discaimer: Patton is Mr. Warburton's. But the rest are all mine, so no taking.
Kelly's POV:
"There he goes, again, Kelly," my friend Cara said to me. "It's like he doesn't even know he's doing it."
Our teacher, Mr. Pelt, always did this weird thing with his eyebrows when he talked. It was like he eyebrows would go way high on his forhead and they'd almost dissappear into his hair, or sometimes they would even look like they were doing the worm on his forhead. It was just plain odd, and after two weeks of school, it was getting kinda creepy.
"You know, Cara, maybe we should try to do it with our eyebrows and see if it's normal or not." I said.
"That's a great idea, Kelly! I'll go tell everyone at recess and then we can all try!" Cara said while grinning from ear to ear. She always got excited over the smallest things.
As soon as the bell rang for recess Cara was out of her seat and telling the whole class. When we got outside, we all formed a little circle, trying to figure out who could wiggle their eyebrows the best. There was a group of about ten of us.
"Ugh. This is too hard, I think Mr. Pelt is just a weirdo for wiggling his eyebrows." Jenna said, taking off with her sister in tow. That left the eight of us, including Cara and I.
I was concentrating so hard to get my eyebrows to move that I almost didn't notice a one of the boys in the circle staring at me. He had very dark green eyes, black hair, and pale skin. I think his name started with a P. I was looking at him when I noticed that he was doing it. He was wiggling his eyebrows! I gave him a thumbs up. He grinned at me. He had a nice smile.
Most kids had already given up and walked away, claiming it was too hard, or they were wasting good recess time doing this. In fact, when I looked around, the only people left were that boy, Cara, and me. Then Cara did something devious and left me there, saying she wanted to go talk to that spanish boy on the swings that was eying her. I just laughed at her. She was such a flirt sometimes.
I kinda gave up on the eyebrow wiggling, but figured that I should at least talk to the boy.
"I can't do this, but I can show you something else." I said to him.
"Okay, what?" He said.
"I can roll my tounge, see," I told him and stuck out my tounge. He nodded his head at me and held his hand out.
"Patton Drilovsky, Eyebrow Wiggler."
"Kelly Grodi, Tounge Roller." I took his hand and shook it, giggling at him as he was still wiggling his eyebrows.
"Hey," he said to me, "do you want to go to the park after school?"
"Sure." I said to him. Two weeks into second grade and I already have a new friend.
Well, there it was. I know I didn't say much about Kelly, but she is an OC I plan on using for other stories anyway, so I hope you liked it. And if you liked it, there's a button just below this that keeps telling me to click it. So click the button of randomness, see what it does. It keeps calling itself a re-view. Whatever that is, maybe it's a time machine! Bye! :)
