Hello everyone! This is the last chapter of this fanfic. I know I fell off of it, I know its not as good as it should be... But I really wanted to conclude this project. It bothered me for years that I hadn't and I'm proud of myself for finally completing it. I hope you all enjoy, and thank you for all the support this story got.

Akihiko dragged on a cigarette, erratically tapping his fingers on a keyboard. His eyes were bloodshot and wide, searching the web for housing. Of course, his network had things to offer, but he wanted to start a clean slate. They deserved that much. Of course, setting up work for the couple would require a type of connection… the mark he had made was unavoidable.

Taking a deep breath, Akihiko picked up a phone, dialing a familiar number.

"Yes?" an annoyed Miyagi answered the phone.

"H-hey old man… How are things?"

Miyagi looked over to the disheveled Shinobu, sleeping beside him, "I'm still waiting for the feds to show up to my house. For that disastrous attempt at revenge."

"Aw come on… Don't be such a sourpuss… Ah… anyway, I need to ask you for a favor."

"...Haven't I done enough, Akihiko?" Miyagi's voice got stern

"Yes… Miyagi, I need a favor for Hiroki.. I'm letting him go… I'm letting everyone go… I need you to please hire him at your university."

Miyagi's heart clenched a bit, as he muttered, "Why must you do this to me you dumbass.."
"I-I know it's not ideal… but he was a professor...before- he was a really good professor…."

"It'll be painful for me Akihiko… I'm trying to move on."

"He needs a life outside of this hellhole… this was the fastest way I can do that, Miyagi…" Akihiko pleaded quietly.

Miyagi sighed heavily, rolling his eyes. He grit his teeth, "Fine. Can I go now? Akihiko… don't get me wrong," he lowered his voice "I love Hiroki... But I also want happiness…And now I feel like I got a fresh start of my own.

"Thank you Miyagi… I owe you," Akihiko sighed in relief, his eyes getting teary.

"Can I go? I'm going to go."

The line went silent, and Akihiko looked over to his own piece of freedom, which slept on in the bedroom close by.

The silverette quickly filled out paperwork which would assign an apartment to the couple, far away, in the heart of the city.

'God, please tell me… what can I ever do to make up for everything I've done…'

Hiroki and Nowaki stared at each other, neither making a move. They hands were tightly intertwined.

After a long silence, Nowaki spoke, "Hiro-san… we can go...please… I want..to go.."

Hiroki leaned in slowly, to plant a sweet kiss on his lover's pale lips, "Let's go, Nowaki. I'm with you."

The couple slowly made it off their mattress, and wearily inched towards the door. They always pictured this moment in their heads, especially in the earlier years. They always ran, bursting out of the door, running through the corridors, their breath and hearts hitching in their throat. But now, they could barely move a muscle. It seemed surreal, a cruel joke. Their limbs refused to move any faster, their knees threatening to buckle in.

"Come on…" the brunet whispered, "We need to go…"

"Where?" came a quiet response

Hiroki stopped, closing his eyes. His head was swimming, it was all too much.

"Akihiko," he choked out, "said he would help us. I just- I just need to see past this building...Please Nowaki…"

Nowaki began moving, almost on autopilot, holding his boyfriend's hand tightly. They tepidly moved their feet, moving first past the doorway, and then out into the hallway.

"Nowaki… look. We're free," Hiroki whispered, staring into the darkness of the corridor, his eyes stinging with years of pain. Years of humiliation. Years of assault. Years of betrayal…

The giant was on autopilot, leading an awestruck Hiroki through the hallways, remembering the route to Akihiko's quarters. He wanted to go outside, but he didn't know how. The disgusting master was their only hope, and that sent chills through Nowaki. Yes, the master had set them free. Yes, there was an apology… But… the whole thing could have been orchestrated, a ploy, a -

He suddenly doubled over in a coughing fit, his lungs convulsing, his ribs feeling crushed, and blood shooting out of his mouth.

"Nowaki!" Hiroki almost lost it, he was now crying, trying to pull his giant towards the exit.

Nowaki tried his best to aid in the movement ,but his chest kept feeling like it was about to collapse.

"Akihiko! Anyone! We need a doctor! Please!" PLEASE!" Hiroki shreaked, putting in all his strength to get them out.

'Why God?'

"WE WERE JUST GETTING OUT! JUST ABOUT TO LEAVE! WHY MUST YOU MAKE HIM SICK?!"

Hiroki collapsed on the floor, his knees hitting the hard cement with a large thunk. Nowaki stood meekly behind him.

'I have destroyed Hiro-san..'

Violet orbs stared at the sleeping young man, his face soft, a smile creeping across his face. His cold hand reached out, tentatively, his fingertips grazing the soft, brunet locks. His smile widened, heart melting at the thought that this beautiful man was all his.

'I love you..'

Misaki's eyes fluttered open, his hazy vision focusing on the hand that was above his face.

"Usagi..?"

Akihiko smiled at the nickname, bringing his hand to touch Misaki's face.

Misaki opened his eyes fully, seeing the silver-haired man sitting on the floor, besides the couch.

"Sleep well?"

Misaki rubbed his eyes and yawned. He felt Akihiko's fingers traveling across his arm, the fingertips lightly tickling him.

"Mhhmm…"

Akihiko stood up, Misaki moving his feet towards himself, and sat down next to him. His cool, lavender gaze danced up and down Misaki's body, ending up staring at the deep-green orbs.

The stare was hypnotizing.

"Misaki," Akihiko purred cooly.

"Yes?"

Akihiko narrowed his eyes, and slowly crawled towards the boy. Misaki's cheeks blushed, his face contorting in a scowl.

"Misakiiii" Akihiko breathed sensually, his hand reaching out to cup Misaki's hand, "come to me, baby."

The teen blushed hard instantly, at the unfamiliar nickname. The elder let his cold fingers travel up Misaki's arm, feeling goosebumps.

"I want you so bad," Akihiko moved closer to Misaki, brushing his nose up the soft skin of his neck.

Misaki shivered, closing his eyes.

Akihiko shuddered, sighing ruggedly, his heart skipped a beat, smelling the sweet scent of his love.

The younger's shaking hand reached out, and tentatively grasped the soft, silver locks.

The man kissed his neck, leaving small sucks, before making his way up to his lips.

"You're all mine," Akihiko breathed, planting a soft kiss on the plump lips.

"Y-yes," Misaki shivered, feeling his groin burn with desire.

"What, baby?"

"I-I'm yours," Misaki gasped drool pooling down the sides of his mouth.

Akihiko looked into the green orbs, seeing the earnesty and love. He couldn't help himself. He pulled the younger into an embrace.

"And I am yours."

Lights flashed between his blinking, he felt like he was floating, heading towards a tunnel. He kept coughing, feeling his lungs clutching to any air that they could. Blood gurgled out of his throat, pooling down the sides of his mouth.

Somewhere in the distance, he heard Hiroki's voice, "It'll be okay...Hold on Nowaki…"

He felt so weak , he just wanted to float. He wanted to breathe. And then there was nothing.

"He has developed a really bad case of pneumonia. It had to be all the ... stress.. . I'm prescribing him 3 antibiotics, take each twice a day. It's excessive, but this is a very aggressive case…"

Hiroki's eyes pooled with tears. He bit his lip to stop it from trembling, his arms tightly around himself.

Finally, he managed to mutter, "But he's going to be okay right..?"

"In theory, he should be. But it will be a long road. Especially seeing his other injuries…"

Hiroki looked down at this shoes, nodding, before sitting down next to Nowaki. The doctor looked at the two over, and quietly left.

It was hours before Nowaki slowly opened his eyes. He looked around the dark room, hearing only the beeping of a heart monitor. He opened his mouth, but it felt too dry to speak. Disoriented, he moved his fingers and suddenly felt a grip in return.

"Nowaki!?" Hiroki whispered, getting up to look at the raven's face, "Nowaki thank God... "

He put his hand on the giant's sweaty locks, pushing his hair back.

"How are you?"

Nowaki didn't answer, just squeezed Hiroki's hand.

"You're going to be alright… the doctor gave you an IV with an antibiotic. He said that you will be able to leave in a couple of days."

Hiroki observed his lover's face, as confusion spread across it. The brunet, took a deep breath.

"Right… so Akihiko actually.. Found us an apartment. Its at the center of Tokyo… pretty fancy… he sent me pictures...Oh, he also provided us with phones."

Nowaki's eyes just kept widening.

"Yea…. its weird… I feel strange accepting all this from him… But he said there are no conditions… He just wants to help… which he should…"

Nowaki closed his eyes, squeezing Hiroki's hand once more.

"This is going to be really good… I can feel it…." Hiroki whispered, half to Nowaki, half to himself.

He took Nowaki's hand, and landed a small kiss on it.

"When you feel better… I'm going to… bring you ice cream from the cafeteria below… It'll be a nice treat…. Yes… And we can go home…. And lay down in a clean bed."

A tear fell down Noaki's cheek, as a weak smile spread across his face.

"It's always been us against the world Nowaki…. And now we get to start over…. Imagine, a nice bath… and us in the bubbles…. You always trying to touch me," Hiroki chuckled.

Nowaki chuckled, but coughed right after.

"Sh…. Just rest ..." Hiroki smiled, "I can't wait to start a new chapter with you…. Maybe we can… finally get that puppy you always wanted. Damn my allergies, I'll be fine…"

"I ...love…..you," Nowaki horsley let out.

Hiroki's heart skipped a beat. He squeezed so hard, and landed kisses all over Nowaki's hand.

"I love you too... more than I can ever express… I will never leave your side."

Outside, lights flashed across the city, cars sped by. Hearing life made Hiroki shudder with excitement. Now this was all theirs. Theirs to love, to conquer.

"I promise… I'll give you the world…."

Miyagi pulled up to his apartment, with Shinobu still pouting in the backseat. He turned to look at his little terrorist, blindfolded.

"This better be good old man. You know I need my sleep. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing up at 8 am. If it's not a sex dungeon, I'm going home," Shinobu muttered.

"Oi, really? How ungrateful," Miyagi huffed, and slowly pulled Shinobu's blindfold off, "Look."

Shinobu's sleepy eyes looked out of the window, to be faced with a nice apartment building.

"That's the sex dungeon?"

Miyagi rolled his eyes. He leaned forward to place his lips on Shinobu's. They were so sweet, he barely pulled away.

"This... Shinobu-chin... is our new home." Miyagi couldn't help but have a wide smile pull across his face.

SHinobu's eyes widened, "R-really? What? I don't-"

"How are we supposed to start a new life, in your sister's apartment? I wanted something new... just for us. Something to commemorate our love."

"S-so you bought us an apartment?" Shinobu asked incredulously, a tear shedding down his cheek.

"You deserve it. We both deserve it. You saved me Shinobu. And I will forever be grateful... You showed me love... "

He leaned again, connecting their lips, his hot tongue invading his terrorist.

"I love you. I love you. I love you." Shinobu moaned breathily between kisses.

Finally, the older man pulled away.

"Lets go."

Miyagi opened the car door, getting out and pulling Shinobu with him. The two linked fingers and took in the nice building.

"This is it, Shinobu. Its you and me now. Lets go my love."
