It was dark.

That wasn't what bothered him. Oh no.

He rather enjoyed the dark, as it tended to hurt his eyes less. No, he liked the dark.

The thing about this situation, what bothered him and made him deeply uncomfortable, was the fact that he was definitely no longer in control. He'd relinquished the reins without even meaning to.

Somehow, Fujioka Haruhi had ended up over him.

How, he couldn't say exactly. He wasn't even sure she could recount it, if asked to.

All he knew was that after he'd given her that lecture, the one that was supposed to yes, educate her, but also impress her that he was always in control, no matter what, after he'd finished, she'd agreed with him, said something about how he was so nice to play the villain to teach her, and then her eyes had gone all thoughtful, and she'd said, "Although…" and he knew that it was a lost cause. He should have expected it from her.

She'd said something along the lines of, "A man may be able to overpower a woman. But, senpai, you all seem to underestimate my ability to seduce you.* I am a girl, and you're all teenage boys, who, let's face it, are ruled by their hormones."

And then, somehow, she'd ended up over him.

His eyes wide, he couldn't move. Nothing he'd ever learned or studied had prepared him for this. Her face was so close to his, and her eyes stared at his laughingly, a small smirk on her lips. Her body was pressed against his, warm, distracting to no end.

"Haruhi…"

She raised an eyebrow, and suddenly her lips were a millimeter above his. Just enough for him to feel it, to anticipate it, to breathe her in, but not enough for satisfaction. His eyes closed involuntarily, and he tried to close the distance. She moved away.

His eyes opened, and he still, for some reason, could not will his body to do anything.

She sat up, somehow still on him, in an even worse way now, and laughed.

"See? It's not just you guys who can wield power." He sat up, and now it was surreal rather than dangerous. It was just him, with her sitting on his lap.

"Don't ever do that again…" He looked at her, and she just laughed more.

"Sorry, senpai." She put his glasses back on his nose, tilting her head and smiling in a way that made his heart melt. How could she make him feel this way so easily?

Then she stood up, smiled, and started to leave, waving a hand apathetically, making him wonder what exactly went on in that mind of hers.

Epilogue- And that precise moment was when it began to thunder.

A/N: Just a short little plot bunny I got of reversing the roles of Kyouya and Haruhi in the merit scene. I may play around more with this theme, but as for now, here you go.

*"You seem to underestimate the power I hold over you as a woman."

"You seem to underestimate the power I hold over you as a SEXYYYYYYY woman."

"You seem to underestimate the power of SEDUCTION!"

"You seem to underestimate the power of the love games we play."

"You seem to underestimate the power of foreplay."

"You seem to underestimate the power of 4Kids."

"You seem to underestimate the power of Sebastian Michaelis, one hell of a butler."

"You seem to underestimate my ability to seduce you, MOTHERFUCKER."

My beta and I had WAY too much fun coming up with alternate sentences. This is how our minds work. Get used to it.
