Down by the sea shore
I do not own Twilight in any way.
Everyone in La Push knows about First Beach.
One in particular was a misunderstood oddball named Embry Call. He could often be found at the beach, in human or wolf form.
"Hey Em", Emily's daughter Gabrielle said.
"Hey Gabby", he said. Embry had imprinted on Gabrielle when she was born, but wanted nothing to do with her.
Now, she was 15 and his feelings still hadn't changed.
"The whole pack is coming to dinner, minus Jake and the bloodsucker, of course. Mama wants to know if you're coming or not", she said.
"Sure Gabs. Whatever", he muttered. Gabrielle frowned and kissed his head softly before leaving.
Something overcame Embry. His head couldn't stop tingling where she had kissed him.
Embry pulled up to Emily's house and opened the door.
Gabrielle was helping her mother to cook. "Embry!" Gabrielle said smiling.
Embry felt his heart swell with pride that he had gotten her to smile. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Whatcha makin'?" he asked, "Smells delicious".
"Pasta", she said, "Your favorite".
"You sure know me Gabbers", Embry said.
"I should, I've known you for my whole life", she said.
Sam walked in with Paul and Jared.
"Hey baby", Sam said kissing Emily.
"Hey daddy!" Gabrielle said.
Sam smiled and said, "Hey baby girl".
"Look! Embry came!" Gabrielle said.
Sam chuckled and said, "Yes. He did". Sam liked seeing his daughter and Embry together.
At least she had been imprinted on by the most soft of the guys, besides Quil.
"Go set the table", Gabrielle said.
Embry kissed her temple and did as he was told.
"Looks like Embry finally embraced the imprint", Kim said to Gabrielle.
"I know", Gabrielle sighed, "He's amazing".
"You're feeling it aren't you?" Claire asked.
"Yeah", Gabrielle said. Gabrielle walked over to Embry.
He looked up at her.
She launched herself on him and kissed him.
The whole pack cheered.
Gabrielle pulled away and smiled at him.
"I love you wolfy boy", she said.
"I love you too Gabbers", he said smiling.
