Chuckles, giggles and chortles

*Build up /inside/ her*

{She knows she can't laugh, though}

- He's watching her with so much scorn –

She keeps catching herself |just| before she laughs

Molly stares at her

Like she's grown a second –head-

But all she can do is

Laugh, laugh, laugh

( S i l e n t l y of course)

And try to keep her eyes away from *him*

(So she doesn't disrupt the Sorting)

&& eyes him suggestively

{He looks nonplussed}

When she –winks- at him

His blonde eyebrows *crease*

And she stifles another [giggle]

As he regards her once again

(With scorn)

She blows him a kiss –

&& he r o l l s his eyes

Then settles back to listen to the Welcoming Speech

&& their lips make a language of their own

She whispers in his ear

His breath hisses out as her tongue

*Suddenly he pulls away*

(Her tone is deadly)

&& her hands have stilled on his tie

/"We pretend we hate each other && then do *this…*"/

|He pushes away from her|

"We make endless promises and always break them…"

She's sucked in a breath

(Without even r e a l i s i n g it)

-"We can't keep doing this…

"You have your Zabini && I have my Rose…

"*I* can't keep doing this."

He's gone –

(&& even as her heart /shatters/)

|She k n o w s he's right|

So she doesn't –cry-

[She never does]

She doesn't ~protest~

(Which is unusual for her)

And she doesn't get *angry*

{Though she always was very high-spirited}

She just goes t i m i d l y to "her Zabini"

&& he kisses her whole again

(without even knowing she was broken in the first place)
