Sim Fun, Part 1
Jack O'Neill just sat in his office, staring at his computer screen. It has been almost 10 minutes since he first sat down to perform a little sneaky move on his system. Just another 20% more and it's done…
"Colonel, what is this?" Sam Carter walked in the office, carrying a small piece of paper.
"I don't know, you tell me!" Jack said, swinging around in his chair to face the Major.
"Well, it's a receipt. There must be a mistake because it says you bought 5 computer games." Sam said, trailing off as she was trying to see the now hidden screen.
"What? I can't buy a few games?" Jack asked.
"Sure you can, but you know the policy on installing personal computer programs on SGC computers." Sam now tried to walk around the Colonel, who got up to block her. Unfortunately, a familiar sound came from the speakers.
An excited gasp came from Sam's mouth as she smiled. "I love The Sims."
"Yea, I thought it would be a good change to everyday life." Jack was starting to smile himself, thinking about a certain Major in a purple bikini. "Besides, it'll help keep me sane."
Sam's smile just grew.
"Honestly sir, you better get that off the system. Hammond will be all over you like…" Sam was interrupted with her CO sitting there with the goofiest look on his face.
"Sir?"
"Yea?" Jack suddenly snapped back to reality. "What?"
"I said you better…"
"I head what you said. I will." Jack sighed.
"You know, you could always put it on my laptop." Sam said, still smiling.
"Get your own copy." Jack started to tease Sam.
"I do. On my computer at home." Sam grinned, now red as a tomato and walked out of Jack's office, leaving the receipt on his desk.
