*4 years later*

"I can't believe this is finally happening," Penny squealed to Bernadette as she added the final touches to her make-up. She knew no amount of make-up could distract from the horrid, frilly pink bridesmaid dress she was wearing but Penny didn't mention her distaste, well except to Bernadette who also sported the same disaster, as it was exactly the kind of dress she'd expected Amy to pick out. Besides it was Amy's special day so she could suck it up for her sake.

"I know, it's so exciting! I can't wait until you and Leonard get married, then the whole gang will be hitched!" Bernadette cooed happily. Penny glanced fondly at the engagement ring on her finger, truthfully the idea of their wedding still scared her but she knew Leonard was the one for her. Commitment issues be damned.
"Hey not everyone," Sam whined from the other side of the dressing room. It was bizarre to see her in such a girly dress, it wasn't her style at all. They all knew Raj was the feminine one in their relationship, that's for sure. In fact, it was a running joke among the gang. Sam didn't seem to mind at all, even joining in every now and then, much to Raj's dismay.

"Oh yeah, when are you planning on getting down on one knee? Isn't marrying a doctor every girl's dream?" Penny teased, ducking to avoid the hairbrush Sam instantly threw at her.
"Don't test me Blondie, I know where you live," Sam threatened light-heartedly.
"No shit, you live across the hall," Penny rolled her eyes.
After Sheldon and Amy moved out of their apartment, quickly realising a two-bedroom apartment was way too small for raising triplets, Raj had eagerly snatched the place up. It was a lot humbler than his old apartment but the place was sentimental to the group and he hated the idea of their hangout in the hands of a stranger. After dating for almost four years, Sam decided to move in with him three months ago. The gang had eagerly adopted Sam into the group after the triplets' birth and, though she'd been hesitant at first, now she couldn't imagine her life without these dorks.

Their banter was interrupted by the sound of the changing room door opening and the three girls snapped their attention towards Amy as she finally stepped out. She looked like something out of a Disney movie, her puffy, white dress had a pink bow around her midsection that matched the bridesmaid dresses. Honestly it was more suited for a ball than a wedding, but it was everything Amy had ever dreamed of. Her hair was framed in curls, with an intricate braid pulled across her head topped with the tiara Sheldon had given her all those years ago. She looked absolutely stunning and Sam could hardly believe she was the same girl she'd grown up with.

"Oh my god, Amy you look amazing!" Penny gasped. Amy looked a little overwhelmed, joy and nervousness pouring off her in waves.
"You really think so?" Amy looked like she was about to cry.
"Hey, hey. No waterworks, Missy, you don't wanna ruin that make-up do you?" Sam gave her a comforting pat on the back.
"Did somebody say Missy?" a voice piped up from the front door. Sheldon's twin sister beamed as she poked her head through the door.

"Missy! You made it," Amy cried delightfully.
"You didn't think I was gonna miss seeing my sister in law walk down the aisle, now did you? Plus it's not often I get to see Shelly in a suit," her Texan drawl was familiar and welcome. It had been a while since Sheldon's family had visited. Though Amy and Sheldon tried to visit every Christmas with the triplets.

"Where's Mary?" Amy asked curiously. If Missy was here then Grandma Cooper was sure to have arrived as well.
"Where else do you think? She's helping get the triplets dressed, apparently those little rascals are causing your boys a bit of trouble. Nothing Grandma Cooper can't handle, trust me," Missy chuckled.
"Now come on, let's get you girls downstairs. We wouldn't want Shelly catching sight of you before the big moment," Missy demanded with a wink.

As the guest took their seats Sheldon tried not to ponder over the likelihood of having a heart attack at the rate his heart was pounding. Despite his nerves, Sheldon tried to maintain his usual stoic expression. He tried to calm himself down with reason, this was nothing to get anxious about. He was just getting married… to undoubtedly the one and only love of his life… in front of all his family and friends. No big deal, right?

Sheldon tried to be discrete as he wiped his sweaty palms against his dress pants. A palm rested on his shoulder causing his to almost jump out of his skin.
"Relax Buddy, everything is gonna be fine. Stop overthinking it," Leonard, his best man, spoke gently.
Sheldon gave a tense nod, but couldn't will his nerves away.

Then the music started and everyone in the church went quiet. The harp was Amy's idea and Sheldon had to agree it was a good choice. As the wedding march echoed through the church, Sheldon eyed the entrance expectantly. Bernadette and Howard were the first to enter, arm in arm, followed by Sam and Raj in tow. Penny came in behind them, holding Leonard jr's hand as she guided the toddler up the aisle looking adorable in his tiny tuxedo. The ring pillow hanged from his wrist, the object precariously dangling as he eagerly ran towards his Daddy. Sheldon couldn't help the smile creep across his face as he gently patted his son's head and led him over to his namesake.

Leonard picked him up eagerly, plucking the ring pillow from his wrist and taking him to his seat in the front row as Missy and his mother made their way to the front. Missy held Samantha's hand and his mother held Marie's, while the toddlers used their free hands to messily throw rose petals along the ground. They wore frilly pink dresses, slightly lighter in shade compared to the bridesmaids. Sheldon watched them fondly as they took their seats next to Leonard jr. His children waved at him eagerly from their seats and he waved back fondly.

Then finally he took a deep breath as he watched the front entrance. It felt like the longest pause of his life before he caught sight of Amy's father finally revealing Sheldon's bride on his arm. He found his nerves disappearing as he caught sight of his beautiful wife-to-be. Time seemed to slow down as she made her way down the aisle, they locked their gaze and Amy seemed almost as blown away as he was. She had her veil pulled back out of her face and he was extremely grateful because covering that beautiful face would be a crime. He knew Amy was beautiful but right now she was absolutely breathtaking. He couldn't believe this was the mother of his children and soon his wife.

The ceremony itself didn't take very long, or if it did Sheldon didn't notice as he was too busy staring at Amy in awe. Their vows weren't particularly sappy but they were personal. Sheldon made several Physics and pop culture references that half the audience didn't understand, while Amy mentioned the biological effects of love in the brain. Despite the abnormality of their confessions, their love for each other was clear. As the minister pronounced them husband and wife, the crowd cheered while the couple shared a tender kiss.

The rest of the night seemed to fly by for the couple as they greeted copious amounts of family members and friends and went about the traditional obligations, such as their first dance, throwing of the bouquet and wedding cake. Yet it still seemed too long in Sheldon's opinion. All he wanted was to take his wife, his wife he thought contently, and his children home. To continue enjoying what his life had become with his family. Raising triplets was often hard, of course, but never a day went by that he regretted any of it. He'd have done this many years ago if only he'd known.

Eventually, however, the parents had to say a teary goodbye to their children, hesitantly leaving them in the care of their grandmother as they headed off to their honeymoon. They had rarely been away from them since their birth and the idea of leaving them was difficult. But they knew the holiday was well deserved and did their best to enjoy their time away while they could. They had their whole lives ahead of them, after all, and their children would be waiting for them when they got back. No doubt they'd try their best to be a handful and run their parents ragged as usual. But Sheldon wouldn't have it any other way.

A/N Ok first I want to say I'm sooooooooo sorry for taking almost three years to finish this. Honestly I wasn't sure if I was ever going to finish this fic. I moved on to other fandoms and got caught up in life commitments. I also started other fics, so there was that. But I finally decided to write the last chapter because I hate leaving things unfinished. This fic was well overdue for it anyway. I hope it isn't as disappointing and rushed as I feel it is. I tried to tie up all the loose ends and give you guys a nice ending.

If any of you guys are still following this fic, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I mean it, a huge thank you to everyone who ever, favourited and/or reviewed this story. This was one of my very first fanfics to every write and you were there to see my writing develop and grow as this fic went on. It will always be very dear to me and I owe each and every one of you for encouraging me. You've made me the writer I am today. It was a good run, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
