[Edward and Bella are sitting in the giant pine tree from the movie.
Suddenly, Edward breaks out in song.]

(Edward)

From the top of this pine tree.
Tell me, Bella, when did you realize our vampiric side?

Bella, open your eyes,
We're not really that high up.
I really want to suck your blood, but that's kind of implied.

A whole new world,
A new vampiric point of view.
No one to notice me,
When I'm spying,
On you; I watch you dreaming

(Bella)

With sparkling skin that's kind of cool.
Hope James doesn't find me,
Up in this tree,
Hold up; did you just say you watch me sleep?

Just kidding, it was a joke, haha…

Unbelievable frights.
People trying to eat me.

[Voices overlapping…confusing…]

(E) Don't you dare close your eyes!

(B) Sorry for the pain I put you through.

(E) Hold your breath— it gets better...

(B) I was kind of surprised.

(E) I'm still trying not to eat you...

(B) I am over it by now.

(E&B)
We can go anywhere, there's time to spare,
Oh, wait, no there's not; Bella's mortal…

(E) Up in this tree,

(B) You could change me…

(E) That's where we'll be,

(B) That's James I see!

(E) The thrilling chase,

(B) I tried some Mace,

(E&B) It didn't work…

[Back to talking…]

(B)
So, you're going to change me, right?

(E)
Um…hold on tight, spider monkey…

(B)
Edward!

[They zip away at lightning speed. James shows up 2 seconds later.
To the tune of "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.]

(James)
I can scent them,
Here in this tree.
Must have missed them by a second or three…
