Hey guys, I understand I haven't touched this story in over four years, but I thought I should still stay something.

Obviously there will be no Mortal Ride Two. I had gone on to write Clary the Demigod?, and that project went much longer then I had ever imagined. I debated going back to this story after it was done, but I had no ideas as to were I wanted to go with it, and had no motivation to create a new plot line, so I decided to leave it alone. I've gone on to a huge project that is probably going to take a year or two to finish, and it takes up a lot of my time, and I love writing for that story, but this one doesn't hold much excitement for me, which sadly is what I need to make a story work.

Along side that, I feel I've grown a lot in my writing since Mortal Ride. I go back and read this story and cringe. I expect a lot more from myself now, and this story is just part of my past that helped me grow. But I can't go back to it.

I still get notices that people are subscribing to this story, and it makes me feel guilty that I haven't say anything on the subject. That is the reason for this author's note. I'm not continuing, so I am sorry if this disappoints you, and sorry if you just don't care anymore and this is just a random pointless reminder in your email. I just thought you guys should know...after four years...wow, I've been on this site for four years...

Anyway, I'm sorry, but not really.

Feel free to take this story on and adopt it if you want. I don't know why you would, it's kind of childish work, I believe, but if for some crazy reason you do, go for it, just let me know. I won't fight you.
