For Kyouko, this was a normal day. She set out to shop for clothes and went to her boutique. She owned her own boutique and she designed all the clothes and wore them! She used the excuse, "I need to go shopping!", to check up on her store. She was pregnant with her 2nd child and her husband would not let her go anywhere. They argued for a bit, but of course, she always won. He just loved her a bit too much.
Then she heard the promo for her new romance film, Just Us Girls, Not, playing on the store's flat screen. She's the lead and her co-star is the one and only Tsuruga Ren! The story is about how Murakami Miki's heart was broken by her ex-fiance, Takano Kei (Fuwa Sho). She vows to never attempt to marry again and she gets insecure about herself. She moves to Kyoto and moves into an apartment thinking it's only inhabited by girls, to figure out the apartment complex manager is a man! Not only is he a man, he's her childhood enemy! This film is about how Miki gets her heart broken and mended, meets new people, and starts a new life. It shows life's challenges, and the movie teaches people to never give up on life and just move on.
Again she was looking through the racks for clothes and she looked around at the business. The store was filled with people so she just shopped, because her store was alright. She turned around and was disturbed when she found a pair of eyes watch her and turn away. She knew who it was and paid no attention. She moved from rack to rack when a pair of hands reached her waist. She gasped and quickly turned her head around. She sighed with relief when she realized it was her husband, Ren or should she say Kuon. She knew he was here, but never thought he could get to her so fast.
She muttered, "You almost made me faint."
He smiled playfully and said, "Oh, that can't happen now can it."
She slapped him lightly on the arm and playfully said "Don't be so mean!"
She moved along the store with Kuon following obediently and patiently and when she went to pay for the clothes, her cashier nearly fainted from the sight of the couple. She squealed, "You're Kyoko and Tsuruga Ren!" They gave each other looks that meant, "Do you think we have to sign autographs to leave?" They were used to this and they paid for the clothes without being mobbed.
They left the store happy. Kuon was happy 'cause his wife was done shopping without being harmed. Kyoko was happy 'cause she got new clothes. They happily left the mall and headed to their car. Kuon came here by cab 'cause if he got there when his wife was finished shopping she would recognize his car and wait for him to come out. When they reached their house, they were greeted by a hyper Kyo. Kyo jumped up to his mom and hooked himself onto her neck. He's 7, but he's shorter than most 7 year old boys and so adorable. Kyo inherited her spunky personality and Kuon's looks that could kill. All girls swoon just by being near him, even though he's so short.
With Kyo now on his back, Kuon whispered, "I love you.", into Kyoko's ears and all she could do was blush and cover her face. Kyo made a disgusted face and Kyoko and Kuon couldn't help but laugh.
2 months later
Kyo was happily playing with his baby sister, Kana, while Kyoko was running around in the kitchen making their dinner, when Kuon came home from his new drama job. Kyoko was his co-star and had left earlier to make dinner and was now setting the table.
"Tadaima!", Kuon yelled out.
"Okaerinasai!" called Kyoko from the living room.
Kuon looked from the living room and found Kyoko laughing with Kyo and Kana. Kuon looked at his family with a blissful look on his face and thought about how lucky he was that Kyoko chose him.
