Blaine and Kurt were on Blaine's bed. Neither of them spoke. Silence surrounded them. The moonlight lit the large room from the window.
Blaine laid with his naked chest against Kurt's bare back. Blaine's arms were warm, wrapped around Kurt's stomach, keeping him close. Kurt's hands were on Blaine's. Their pajama clad legs were tangled together underneath a single sheet. Blaine nuzzled his face in the back of Kurt's neck. Despite Blaine's smaller frame, he made an exceptional bigger spoon. The clock read 2:36 am.
"I love you," Blaine breathed, planting tender kisses at the nape of the other boy's neck.
"I love you, too," Kurt replied. He tightened his grip on Blaine's hands.
"I… I think I might want to spend the rest of my life with you…"
Kurt's heart skipped a beat. Blaine had never said that to him before.
"Really?" Kurt whispered.
"Of course," Blaine said, "I've spent countless nights imagining us growing old together, getting married, having a family, a house… just living our lives together. Forever."
Kurt flipped his body over in one swift, graceful motion so that he was facing his boyfriend.
"I want those things, too," he nearly squeaked, "So much."
Tears began to build up in each of their eyes. They moved in simultaneously and kissed each other softly on the lips.
They fell asleep in each other's arms shortly after with smiles on their faces.
