Its about time someone wrote an mpreg for them eh? Well I love this story. More or less it's my favorite. So please review. Just one last thing. I had trouble writing for Yagari so eventually I gave him a personality similar to Kyo the cat's from Fruits Basket to me Yagari seems downright...catty. Well cheers! *toasts with champagne* Ooo one last thing Yagari doesn't have the eyepatch.
Parings: RidoxYagari, one sided KaienxYagari, side pairing of KanamexZero( they'll be in the story a good bit so get used to it),mentions of YagarixNatsuki, mentions of ZeroxNatsuki, slight mentions of YagarixZero, and i have some other secrets planned down the road. You'll have to wait n see! ;D
Warning: THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY RATED VERY VERY M! There will be TONS of lemons, limes, rape(not much of this but there will be some) THIS IS YAOI PEOPLE! And mpreg! We mustn't forget the mpreg!

Yagari Touga looked up to see his best friend Kaien Cross staring at him from across the table as he was sure he had been for the past hour. As soon as Kaien noticed he was looking he let his gaze fall to his cup of tea watching the steam rise blankly.
Kaien coughed awkwardly, trying to get a hint of a conversation started, and eventually gave up the idea and returned to staring at Yagari.
"Oh by the way," Yagari spoke up, still staring into his tea. He looked up at Kaien. " Thanks for lunch."
Kaien took a long sip of his tea. "That's fine. No problem at all really coinsidering you didn't actually eat anything. That's not like you." Kaien worried.
The hunter looked up from his tea to meet Kaien's eyes. Then he shifted his gaze away yet again.
Kaien reached across the table and lifted up Yagari's chin ignoring his protests. " You look really pale, much more so than normal. Are you sure you're alright?" He pressed his hand to Yagari's forehead. He pulled his hand back in alarm. "My God! Touga, you're burning up!"
Yagari pulled his face away from Kaien's hands wordlessly.
"Are you sure you're not sick? Maybe you should stay here for the night." Kaien suggested concern for his best friend written all over his face.
"Nice of you to offer, but in case you didn't know I have a house too. And you know... work tommorow. Besides, I'll be fine. You know I will. I always am , aren't I?" Yagari responded, avoiding Kaien's hopeful eyes.
" You're probably right." Kaien agreed stiffly before sitting back down, " I just worry about you. I don't think I can bear the thought of you being sick, alone in that house!" Kaien threated.
" I won't be alone though.." Yagari tried to comfort his friend.
"That's another thing... being sick around that man...it seems dangerous. Are you sure nothing's going on? You know you can tell me Touga. I'm always here for you. And why is he staying in your house in the first place?" Kaien paniced.
Yagari looked away in silence at first. "Kaien, I already told you!Nothing's going on. Nothing's wrong. NOTHING! If there was, you know you'd be the first person I'd tell. As for Rido...he's just there." He sighed.
Kaien suddenly got suspicious for the fist time. He didn't like the way Touga's tone changed when he mentioned Rido. Kaien narrowed his eyes at the younger man. " Is something going on between you two? Tell me the truth Touga!" he demanded.
Yagari's serene facial expression changed drastically. He got up so abruptly the tea fell on the ground. " Me and Rido? God, no! As if there were even any way that would ever" his voice suddenly trailed off and he was seated again. His fists clenched so tightly they were turning white.
He gave Yagari a concerned gaze. He looked even paler than he did only a few moments ago. " Touga are you alright?"
Yagari shook his head violently, never letting his eyes leave the white table cloth.
Kaien studied Yagari for a brief moment before realizing that Yagari WAS sick whether he was going to admit or not. " Do you feel sick?" Kaien asked him gently.
Y
agari nodded, but almost shyly this time.
Kaien tryed to help Yagari to his feet, who even now refused his help. Even now Yagari pushed him away. Kaien drew his hand back in shock, a hurt look on his face. " Touga..." he started, his gaze falling to the ground.
"I'm sorry..." Yagari whispered before dashing off.
Kaien looked up as he heard the door slam. Something was VERY wrong. Sure, Yagari could be a bit brash sometimes and even downright impulsive but he wouldn't ever hurt him. Kaien walked down the short hall to his bathroom. " Touga..." he called cautiously.
"Go away." Yagari yelled weakly, trying to sound menacing.
Kaien rolled his eyes. he knew Yagari didn't mean for him to actually go, he never did. Yagari put on his "couldn't give a damn about anything" act when he was feeling vunerable and that was when Yagari needed him the most. The principal leaned up against the door but drew back instantly.
His worry for the younger hunter just got 100 times stronger. It sounded like Yagari was throwing up! Kaien's breathing quickened. " Touga!" he gasped.
No answer.
"Touga?" he called worriedly. He knocked on the door tentatively.
No answer yet again.
"Touga?" he exclaimed nervously, pulling down on the doorknob with so much force he tore it completely off. The door still remained still. It had been sealed with a thin, half-hearted hunter spell. It was weakly cast so it was easy to break but that only worried Kaien more. Yagari had the strongest hunter magic in the association, his skill was legendary. SOMETHING WAS DEFIANTLY OFF!
Kaien threw the door open so hard it literally fell off it's hinges, not that he even noticed this, only to wish he'd never opened the door at all.
Yagari was on the floor kneeling in front of the toilet, his breathing shallow and labored. He lurched forward with a cough, his knuckles again white. He stiffened when he realized Kaien was watching him but didn't say anything, more likely couldn't at the moment, or even look up.
Kaien simply stared at Yagari for a moment, just not knowing what to say. He didn't know what to do. His best friend, Yagari Touga was sick! That hadn't happened since they were kids. But back then Yagari was...(A/N Interruption: Sorry to disturb you, but there will be several more mentions of this in this chapters and in some of the other ones so if I don't explain this now you'd be incredibly confused . Yagari was born with a disease that made him very weak and constantly sickly. It affected him until he was twelve and then just went away. It wasn't cured. There is no cure but it just went away and no one knew about it. ooo btw in this story Yagari's like 25. Kaien's 34. Last year in the story it started to affect him again but Natsuk(if you don't know who she is see Your Sweet Kiss) Yagari will tell you more in a later chappy. Ok I'm gonna shut up now.) Oh God...! Kaien scurried forward and sat down next to Yagari on the floor.
He put a hand on Yagari's shoulder comfortingly. "Touga..." he started. Yagari flinched under his touch but didn't even look up from the floor.
Kaien took his hand from Yagari's shoulder awkwardly. He stared at his fingertips, trying to think of the right words to say in a situation like this. He quickly arrived at the conclusion, there weren't any. "Touga..."he tried again. He put his hand back on Yagari's shoulder. " Is it...do you... that is... do you think this is because of..." he couldn't even bring himself to say it.
" No.", Yagari grunted. "It can't be! Natsuki stopped it mostly!" he denied instantly. Then after a moment he added more quietly to himself as if he were trying to convince himself instead of Kaien, "It's not! It's true she did stop it!"
Kaien looked down at the tiles awkwardly again, sorry for having to bring up such a terrible topic. Especially since he knew how painful it was for Yagari to talk about. This happened every time Kaien brought it up; Yagari would get all quiet and get this look on his face that was so sad it made Kaien want to cry.
He knew he had caused Yagari to worry, which of course, the younger man would deny. Yagari would always pretend to be really open about it. He'd make a bug show of how insignificant it was. He'd always so how it wasn't a big deal, even though it was painfully obvious it was. He'd laugh it off even though you could see it was killing him on the inside.
In truth, it really did, like throwing salt in an open wound for Yagari. Each time Kaien mentioned it he withdrew further and further into his shoulder. Because the truth was it scared him. It hung over him like a dark shadow. And he was scared. And that was something Yagari would not allow himself to be.
And still after all these years Kaien was STILL stupid enough to bring it up! "Oh." he murmured feeling ashamed of himself.
Yagari retched again making Kaien wince and feel even worse about waited until Yagari could speak again to ask him " Then what's wrong?"
Yagari looked like he wanted to answer straight away but couldn't for a few seconds. Yagari tried to catch his breath before realizing that wasn't going to be an option. "I dunno..." Yagari managed before having to throw up again.
Kaien sighed, how like Yagari. Treating something like this as if it were nothing. He knew what Yagari hated most was looking weak. Kaien sighed once more and decided rolling his eyes should be sufficient. He rubbed his friends back. "And..."
"Alright, alright! I'll admit I've been...strange for awhile now." Yagari sighed, deciding it would be easier to just let the crazy man do whatever he wanted.
Kaien grimaced, he knew it! Yagari had been lying to him! He hadn't been taking care of himself like he was supposed to. He probably wasn't taking his medicine either!Living with that man certainly couldn't help matters either. He just KNEW that was a bad idea. "Dang it Touga! Why didn't you tell me you were feeling bad?" Kaien exclaimed.
"Not BAD! Just...strange." Yagari managed to say somehow through gasps.
Kaien went on while patting Yagari on the back, " You haven't been taking your medicine either have you?"
Yagari tried his best to glare at Kaien but it made him feel too sick to even try. So he settled for growling, ' I don't need any damn medicine!"
"YOU HAVE A DISEASE!" Kaien shouted at him.
Yagari barely managed to mutter, " God! I get enough of this from Rido!" before not being able to talk anymore.
"What?" Kaien asked. He gave Yagari an odd glance and he saw his best friend, really saw him for the first the first time since he'd come over only hours ago.
He looked exhausted. Some time during the entire ordeal he had broken into a cold was just as pale, most likely paler than before. His breathing appeared even more more laboured. Kaien was so worried;Yagari was really really sick!
Yagari lurched foward once more before wiping his mouth off and slumping over on the floor.
Kaien gasped. His friend was actually displaying weakness. "Touga?" he wondered aloud.
"Mmm?" Yagari moaned.
"Are you ok?" Kaien asked pointlessly.
"Mmm...be fine." he murmured back sounding like he was talking in his sleep.
Kaien looked over Yagari wondering if that were true. He got a small smile on his face when he realized something he could do to get his best friend acting like his old self. "Ok...I don't think you can drive like that... you're really sick. I'll call Rido to come pick you up. Or , you could always just stay here y'know. I mean, I could take care of you." Kaien suggested with a smirk, expecting Touga to scream at him like normal.
He was caught completely off guard when Yagari murmured back to him, " Yeah...please...call Rido." and then pressed his forehead against the cool tiles of the floor.
Kaien nodded and hurried into the livingroom to get his cellphone. Yagari NEVER accepted help from anyone! He was seriously sick.
Kaien hurriedly typed in Rido's number, eager to get back to Yagari.
Rido picked up on the first ring. "Hello?" answered a deep, rich, velvety, almost dark sounding voice.
"Err...Kuran-san?" Kaien stammered intimidated by Yagari's newest and certainly strangest roomate.
"Yes. Who is this?" Rido answered in an annoyed tone, like velvet being rubbed the wrong way.
"Um- it's Kaien Cross. You know, the chairman of the school?" he was still quite wary around him. In fact, truth be told, he didn't trust Rido, especially with someone as irreplaceable as Yagari.
"Yes, I know. How's this? What do you want?" Rido snapped back, intentionally sounding rude.
Kaien would have been offended any other time, what had he ever done to him? But today that didn't matter. Yagari was much more important. "Well...you see... Yagari-kun came over to my house for lunch today-" he began.
As soon as Kaien said Yagari, Rido was all ears and his attitude instantly brightened. " Ah...Touga-chan? Is that where he ran off to? So tell me, how's he doing?" Rido gushed, scaring Kaien slightly.
"Oh...that's just the thing...not so well." he stuttered nervously.
Suddenly the temperature in the room dropped 10 degrees. Kaien felt a shudder run down his spine. "WHAT?What's wrong with him?Is he ok?" Rido screamed so loud Kaien nearly dropped his cell phone.
"I hope so Kuran-san. He's really, really sick. He is in no condition to drive home by himself. Could you come pick him up?" he finished relieved to almost be done talking to this vampire.
"Ill be there in 30 minutes!" he replied and hung up before Kaien could give him directions.
Kaien set his phone down on the coffee table, sighing in relief that it was over. Yagari was still slumped over in the exact same position when he returned. In fact, it looked like he basically just passed out on the floor. Kaien bent down and shook his friend gently. "Come on Touga, wake up. Rido's going to be here in 30 minutes." he chided just loudly enough to try and wake him. Yagari didn't even stir. He sighed and picked up Yagari who was clearly not planning on waking up. He was much lighter than he would have imagined.
Kaien had to admit he did like the feeling of having Yagari in his arms. He pulled the younger man closer to his chest. Kaien had known he thought of Touga as more than a friend for years now but this is the first chance he'd in along time to see Touga like this. He just noticed how adorable Yagari was when he was asleep. His mask of toughness was gone and under he looked like an innocent little lips were frozen in an adorable pout, lips that seemed so...kissable. Before he knew what was happening so he could stop himself his hand was on Yagari's cheek, he ran his palm over over the hunter's smooth skin. He ran his fingers over Yagari's lips, then all of a sudden his lips were brushing against Yagari's.
After a few, too short seconds, Kaien pulled back ignoring the pang in his heart. He smiled a sad smile as he set the younger man down on the couch, wishing one day he could kiss Yagari one day when they were awake and that he would hear his name said the way Rido's was. But he knew that would never. He knew he couldn't even tell Yagari his true feelings.
Yagari woke up to the sound of the doorbell chiming once and someone slamming on the door nonstop. He closed his eyes again and took a deep breath. Rido.
Whew! *wipes off sweat* That took forever! Well it was worth it! Please review to show people are reading this so I can have the confidence to continue.
As always lots of love,
Z-chan
