Gosh, it's been forever since I've posted! But, I rewatched the Breakfast Club the other day and just had to write this! The chemistry between Clare and John is juust too good to pass up.

Anyway, same old same, I don't own and I don't profit.

Enjoy! (:

Slender fingers tugged through fiery hair as an anxious sigh escaped from the female's lips.

Monday morning.

Fuck.

Clare had never really dreaded mornings; she was always surprisingly perky and manicured to perfection. This morning, however, she couldn't seem to muster up enough nerve to get out of her daddy's Beamer. The reason for her distress stood on the front steps of the school, leaning casually against the railing, looking far too attractive for her own good.

John Bender. Oh fuck.

He was with his friends, she noted with a grimace, he wouldn't be speaking with her this morning. Who said he would ever speak to her again in the first place? Sighing again, she climbed out of the BMW, wishing her father an absent-minded good-bye. Making her way towards the steps, she began to tremble.

"Just walk on by, don't even try." She murmured to herself as she approached his suddenly imposing figure. Dark eyes caught hers for the briefest of moments before flickering back to the bulky burner standing in front of him.

Brushing past John, hurt and confused, she failed to notice the small smile that graced his lips or the barest whisper of 'Cherry'. Making it to the second set of steps, Clare nearly jumped out of her own skin as long, muscled arms wrapped securely around her waist from behind. As an all too familiar masculine smell teased her senses, she relaxed.

Warm breath softly passed over her ear. "Where ya headed in such a hurry, princess?" He drawled, pressing a tender kiss to her neck. Clare glowed.

Another sigh, shakier than before. "John." She hummed, heart beating violently against her ribs.

"Hmm. Don't you just walk by me. Unless you're afraid people might get the wrong idea." He joked, before biting his way to her ear, sending a pleasant shiver down her back.

"You're impossible." She conceded, turning around in his arms, and pressing a longing kiss to his lips.

A low groan rumbled in his throat as he tightened his arms around her. "Ditch with me." He suggested, her soft chuckle brushing along his lips. After a final lingering kiss to the delinquent's chapped mouth, she took a step back.

"See you in class, Trouble." Clare returned with a teasing wink. John sighed and rolled his eyes as she continued up the steps towards the main building. Releasing his breath in a huff, he jogged back down to his friend's stares of bewilderment. Apparently, he had some explaining to do.
