(a/n Hello, so this is probably a very weird crossover. Cat from Victorious and John/Number Four from I Am Number Four... I don't know if it's the fan girl in me, but I see them as very cute couple. Basically the one-shot is about John betraying Cat over and over and over, but somehow she still loves him, despite the fact that she desperately wants to hate him. So, basically John is Cat's Judas... It's kind of a songfic but more based off the song Judas by Lady GaGa (my FAVORITE song EVER) So, Read & Review! Enjoy! *It's short*)
Cat Valentine sat down on her porch steps, her eyes still red from her earlier tears. She didn't believe John would do that to her, cheating on her with Jade. Yes, Jade and she weren't exactly friends but she's still hurt. She had given John chance after chance but he still managed to betray her. She felt a new wave of tears run over her cheeks. She tried to wipe them away but they kept falling.
"Cat!" Someone called.
The red-head raised her, immediately recognizing the voice. John. She stood up and looked to the right to see a small segment of blonde hair. Her breath caught. No matter how much she would love to admit that she hated him, she couldn't. She loved the boy too much to tell him she wanted him out of her life. She just couldn't do it. She whipped her face again, seeing him get closer to her house, his steps increasing when he saw her silhouette.
"Cat," He breathed out when he was on her porch steps.
Cat was torn. She was torn between yelling in his face for cheating on her and apologizing for being a drama queen and run into his arms. His blue orbs had a protective edge to them whenever he saw her. It was still there but Cat couldn't figure out if it was regret or love or maybe even both. John held up his hand the minute she opened up her mouth.
"Before you start yelling at me, I want to say what you saw wasn't what you thought."
Confusion crossed the red-heads features. John sighed and walked up the steps until he was looking directly into her brown orbs.
"I didn't cheat on you."
Not this time, Cat added silently, but, somewhere in her heart made her believe that it had never been him, that it was always the girl who made the first move and not her boyfriend. She should've seen it coming. He's very attractive; of course girls are going to flirt with him. He put his hands on her shoulders and rubbed her skin lightly with his thumb.
"I never kissed Jade, she was asking me to reach a book for her and then she kissed me as soon as you walked in…" John stopped for a minute. He ran his hands down her arms until they stopped at her hands, like he was so used to it, his hands held hers.
"You ran all the way here from school?" He asked. Cat let a small smile show on her lips. She shrugged.
"Sorta, half way is better." John smiled at the red head. She looked into his smothering ocean blue orbs.
"Promise?" He nodded his head, a sincere look in his eyes. Cat nodded, feeling John's left hand come up and cup her left cheek.
"I'm so sorry I made you cry," He whispered, running his thump along her cheek getting rid of the tears.
Cat smiled, happy to have her John back again. But, it would happen again and Cat could never forget that.
