What if you could write to the Maximum Ride characters and actually have them write back? You can! It's easy. All you do is leave a letter to the character of your choice in a review (like fan mail), and I deliver it to that character. In the next chapter, you'll get a reply. Simple! Now, you're probably thinking that this looks familiar. Well, if you've read Fangalicous08's story Letters to the Flock, it should be very familiar. I adopted it from her! If you haven't read it yet, you should. After all, that's where the first seven chapters of the story live.

Ch. 1

~Bri's POV~

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk into the Martinez house and actually meet the flock? When Skits passed the job of mail carrier to me, it seemed like a great idea. That is, until I walked in the door for the first time.

~Max's POV~

I swear we were turning the house into a war zone. Mom was literally going to kill us when she got home. So what do I do? I get the flock to clean! Yeah, right. Like that would ever happen. No, what I do is sit on the couch and scream at them to start cleaning. Well, I was doing that. Until the door opened and some random girl walks in like she owns the place.

"Who are you and what are you doing in this house?" I ask, switching into fearless leader mode.

"Um, I'm Bri," she says. "I'm the replacement for Skits." She rummages through her bag and pulls out some envelopes. "Here, these are yours," she says as she throws them at me. Yep, just like Skits was.

"Thanks?" I reply, unsure of what else to say.

"Welcome," is her response. "Where are Nudge and Ella?"

"Um, in their room." I answer.

"Okay! Thanks!"

I shrug and open the first letter.

Max,

*bows down* You're amazingly awesome. And I wanted to slap Fang when he left. One of the girls in my homeroom loves the series, but she's a wanna-be you. I hate her, for other reasons too.

What the heck are you talking about? I don't recall Fang ever leaving (except maybe for food). Yes, I am awesome. And what the heck? "...but she's a wanna-be you. I hate her, for other reasons too." So you hate her 'cause she wants to be like me? Great to know...

Dear Max,

Are you going to follow Fang though he specifically said not to? You should! You'd be a lot more adventurous than me! (Who just happened to hyperventilate in Safeway because I thought we were going to be late for class by getting doughnuts!) (Shhh! Please don't tell my aunt!)
