Marti was speeding down the road on her bike. There had been a few times she'd almost been in a an accident with the cars passing by. Marti decided she was having the worst day of her life.

First off, the Hellcats were disqualified from Nationals for not having enough players on the team

Then the Hellcats' coach, Vanessa, was fired for accusations of putting the squad in danger when there was a strep throat outbreak.

Then she'd just found out that Deidre had lied to her about not knowing where their father, Rex, was. Marti didn't know if she would ever forgive Deidre for denying her the chance to know him.

While Marti didn't know if she would ever forgive Deidre, she did know that she needed to be somewhere safe, and that was in Julian's arms.

She'd hadn't heard from him all day. He wasn't answering his phone. Marti thought maybe he'd been busy with work. Marti knew that the moment she saw Julian, things would be better.

As she came up to Julian's house, she thought her day couldn't get any worse.

Marti got out the key that Julian had given her weeks ago. As she walked into the house, she noticed it was quiet and dark. Marti thought Julian must have gone to bed early.

She headed towards Julian's bedroom, ready to slip into bed with him. She stopped dead at the thresh hold, as she spotted Julian sleeping in his bed, holding Rebecca Parish. His ex wife. Correction - soon to be ex wife.

As a tear ran down her cheek, Marti realized her day had gotten worse.
