I always felt different, because I was different. I was smaller than my brother, scrawnier, weaker when it came to straightforward combat. I was made for tricks, not for battle. All I ever wanted was to be like Thor, to be seen as his equal and not his shadow – his quiet, silver-tongued shadow. I looked up to him. I wanted to be able to say I was Loki Odinson and feel in my heart that it was true.
