This is very short, but I wrote it during the commercial break after a certain part of the newest episode of Bones. So, therefore, spoilers.

"Don't make me go…I love being here. Don't make me go. Please, don't make me go!"

Vincent Nigel-Murray panted as he saw Booth and Brennan fading from his vision, the world going black. It didn't hurt, and that scared him. If he was going to live, he would be in pain. If he was going to make it through he would be in agony. Maybe he was in a different kind of agony.

"Vincent, no one's making you go. You can stay here as long as you want! I promise, no one's taking you away."

Brennan was crying and he could feel them holding on to his chest, trying to keep the blood in, but it wasn't working, his life with seeping out through his chest and there was nothing anyone could do to stop it.

"I don't want to go…don't make me go!" he gasped, and his eyes searched for refuge from the horror of what was happening.

"We love having you, Vincent! You're my favorite, everyone knows that. Right, Booth? Tell him Booth!"

It was the last thing he heard before his blood started rushing through his ears and his heart did the opposite of what he wanted and stopped. He didn't want to die. He didn't want to-
