Hello everyone, this is just a little something I did between typing my other stories. It's set the day after Voldemort was finally killed. It's slightly AU and is based in Remus and Tonks cabin.

May 3rd, 1998

It was hard to believe the Dark Lord was finally gone and was never going to come back again. It was even harder to believe that Remus Lupin was going to live happily with his wife and his son.

Remus rolled over and a sigh escaped his lips as his eyes landed on the face of his beautiful wife. Her mousey brown hair flowed around her face and, as she had every day since they got together, was sleeping in her normal body. No sign of morphing was present on her features and Remus couldn't help but smile knowing only he got to see the real Nymphadora Tonks...no Nymphadora Lupin.

Remus jumped when the sound of a baby cry filled the cabin. It only took him a second to realize what the sound was, then he was running quietly out of the room he shared with his wife to his sons nursery. The moment little Ted Remus Lupin caught sight of his daddy his tears dried up and his lips formed into a smile.

"Making sure mommy and daddy were still here, huh?" Remus whispered as he picked the month old baby up into his arms. "Don't worry Teddy, me and mommy are never going anywhere."

Teddy's hair was changing colors quickley and finally landed on a brown color with spots of grey. Remus smiled lovingly at his son then grinned and whispered "Mommy's up,"

"You know sometimes your werewolf senses are a little creepy." Nymphadora said wrapping her arms around his waist. "It's a little stalkerish actually,"

Remus laughed "I only stalk you Dora, you're the only one that's hot enough for this old man to follow everywhere."

Nymphadora placed a kiss on his lips and whispered "No matter how old you are I will always love the fact that I know the nicest werewful to ever walk this earth."

Remus looked at his son and whispered "I will be a good father, and I promise to be the best husband."

Nymphadora palced her son back into his crib then grabbed her husbands hand. "Why don't we go back tok bed and you can show me just how good of a husband you'll be to me."

Remus grinned and lifted his lovely, bubble gum pink haired, wife into his arms and followed that action by a passionate kiss. "I love you Dora,"

Nymphadora put her hand on his cheek and said "I love you too Moony, now I believe I gave you an order."

Remus laughed and carried his wife out of the room, stopping to get one more look at his son and to close the door slightly. As he carried his wife, his Dora, to their room only one thought ran through his head, 'How did I getg lucky enough to deserve all this?
