Okay, Shunsui x Nanao with no angst. You guys haven't seen the like out of me in a long while. I own nothing.

Shunsui gets the idea from one of those romance novellas he stole off of Rangiku's desk (Really, she's read them all and doesn't mind if someone takes one so long as they give it back in one piece). He figures he probably shouldn't use his own work for advice; he already knows what all of it says and maybe, just maybe he'll find something new here.

A rose with thorns. Interesting concept; so very romantic, too. Hmm, a rose with thorns; the concept, of course, refers to something or someone who is very beautiful but somewhat prickly as well. In order to win her, the thorns have to be navigated or softened.

Shunsui closes the book and grins.

Of course, when he starts using "thorns on a rose" lines and the like on Nanao, she's anything but impressed. In fact, she just swats his hand with a fan and tells him he's left off his paperwork again. When Shunsui doesn't leave, she starts talking about sexual harassment charges in thattone of voice. That's the signal to leave.

Shunsui goes away a failure with a bruised hand.

Eh, it was worth a shot. Nanao's the thorniest rose he knows, after all.
