Oh hey, remember me? Sorry, I have been UBER busy. I now work two jobs and today I was supposed to work both of them but called out sick for my morning one and then my night one called out sick on me? (they just didn't need me to come in) So I got to sleep all day and it was exciting. Until about noon when I got bored so I watch frozen then looked up frozen fanfic and then remember I had on then spit this out and now here it is. ENJOY.

At lunch it was all Ellie could do not to stab a fork in her eye. Anything would be better than listening to Cotilla drone on about some new southern guy in her math class. She did take refuge in the fact that she wasn't talking about Z-strap. Angel wasn't even paying attention, she was to busy with her doodles.

Ellie found herself dosing off into day dreams. She was about be awarded the Gymnastics world champion of the decade when she was interrupted by Jason sitting down next to her. Suddenly Cotilla's chatter about the new guy got VERY interesting. It was also VERY convenient that she was on Ellie's other side. Cotilla's focus of course shifted to Jason when she realized he sat down. Jason was a boy, so he obviously had to know everything about all of the other boys in the school, I mean that's how girls work.

"Okay, so I know his name is Ryan, and he is from the south, but like, what is he into? Does he like shopping? Does he like smoothies? Does he like movies and dancing? Is he single?" She hardly left any room for Jason to talk.

"I- uh, Who are we talking about?" Confusion washed over Jason's face.

"THE NEW GUY" Cotilla squealed.

"Oh, I haven't really met him yet. Although I think I have a class with him this afternoon." Jason tried to answer the best he could. Of course his answer was wrong because this left him open to Cotilla's endless list of things she wanted to know about Ryan.

This was the perfect time for Ellie to slip away to get a little extra studying in before her test this afternoon. "Hey guys, I'll catch up with you later, I am gonna study for that test this afternoon."

Jason looked up at her like he wanted to say something but Cotilla interrupted him before he could even start "Jason! You should be writing this stuff down! Do you own a tape recorder? I guess I could let you borrow one of mine, I don't want to miss one bit of this information." Ellie walked away leaving a very excited Cotilla behind with a mildly scared Jason.

In the library Ellie could shake this sinking feeling that she was being watched. It was probably just the new cameras Ronson had installed in every inch of the school, Ellie convinced even the bathrooms had them, but still something didn't feel right. She was nestled between the 1700 and 1800 shelves of the library, trying to literally get in the history zone. She looked around, trying to ease herself, but just as she looked up she saw a blonde haired man stepping from the 1900's toward the door and the unsettled feeling grew. She watched him walk out of the room and then tried to get back to work, she only had 15 minutes until her quarterly test in history and she only got a 94 on the last one. She needed to bring her grade up.

Practice was light that night, and let out early. The coach's son had doctor's appointment for an ear infection he had to get to. Ellie ended up staying the full time to practice anyway. She nearly had her routine for her next competition down when the sinking feeling came back. Ignoring she went through the routine once more, but she messed up a round off handspring she could do in her sleep. The feeling of unease was offsetting her whole mindset.

Her heart nearly stopped when a blonde boy came running at her, but quickly she realized it was her brother. "Ellie, gram wanted to ask if you could pick up some fresh veggies for dinner tonight at the far end market." Ellie groaned a little, the far end market was out of the way and a good 15 minutes from here and then another 20 to the barge and that was when she was flying. "Or you could go over to Stankville and find Jason; he left his phone on the table this morning. And Grams wants everyone home for dinner."

"Fine I'll go to the market. Just keep your phone on you, something feels off about today." As the words were leaving her mouth she looked over at the door to see a blond man leaving.

-Jason's POV-

Ellie's cold shoulder had better of thawed by now, after dealing with Cotilla being boy crazy I don't think I could handle another freeze out.

I really wish I paid better attention during space science when they thought us how to tell time by the sun. I think it's almost 5, or 8. Either way I should probably start heading back the barge for dinner. Tomorrow my phone is going right in my bag. Maybe Ellie texted me after school, things might be good now.

-At the Barge-

Before I could even get to my phone Grams bombarded me on the deck. "JASON! If I am going to pay for that phone then you better answer me when I am trying to get ahold of you! And you can't do that if it isn't on you! What if there was an emergency!?" She wasn't really as mad as she was worried and annoyed.

"Sorry Grams, I didn't mean to. It's going in my bag right now." I tried to sneak inside to avoid prolonging this conversation.

"J-baby, call Matt. I sent him to go get you from Stankville because I couldn't get a hold of you." She called after me as I went down the hall.

I grabbed my phone from the kitchen, it had 2 missed calls from grams, 3 cat photos from matt and a text that said 'Bro, where are you' and then another that said 'wait you don't have your phone on you, nevermind.' There was nothing from Ellie, although there was a number I didn't recognize that texted me. There were actually about 7 messages from them.

-do you remember all of the information you need to obtain?

-could you figure out how to use my tape recorder?

-Isn't he dreamy? How is it going?

-Did you find out everything?

-Did you find out more?

-Why aren't you answering?

-JASON ANSWER ME RIGHT NOW!

And then that was followed by 6 calls. I don't even know how Cotilla got my number. Ellie probably gave it to her. I wonder if she is home.

I stopped by to check her room but it was empty, it looked just like it did this morning so she hasn't been home yet. I guess I'll just see her at dinner.

So I hope that was good, I might write more in another 2 years. ;)

Happy 4th friends.
