A/n: I know it's been too long since I updated, so consider this update an apology for being so overdue. Been fighting with my hands again as cubital tunnel has gotten worse. So updates are not as frequent as I would like. But nonetheless, here we are. I intended to update on Kentachi's birthday (6/2) but now I'll be updating closer to Hiyoko's birthday (7/26), btw someday soon I'll upload a list of all their birthdays so you know which ones to celebrate (that is, if anyone actually really adores these characters enough to do so, which I doubt. Most Dungeon stories that don't 1. blindly suck up to canon to the point of absurdity, 2. retell Sky, Darkness and Time, or 3. Have them joining the Guild get ignored and that's just annoying, why redo the same thing that's already been done?

Sorry if Zuri-chan is out of focus again, will bring her back into focus. She's sort of out of focus for the moment. However, I've decided to make her part Fairy type. It sort of explains her powerful abilities, no?

So, here I am, giving you guys another chapter. At least the Japanese titles are there to be unique (even though I was a huge weeb back then, haha)

So, yes, here we find out more about the Fairy Type.

Chapter 35: Vee no Naisho: Yousei no taipu!

The two heroes faced each other on the battlefield.

One, the orange Buizel, said nothing, but a confident smirk flew up his face. "All right, Mien, let's start this."

The yellow Mienfoo on his left smiled, nodding, "Of course we will, Kentachi. I've observed your skills, now it's time to put this to the test."

Mien went first, putting up a brown shield in front of himself, this move was called Detect.

Kentachi used the move Quick Attack, but it had no effect, he merely bounced off the shield with no damage done to Mien.

"You're good, but you can't keep that Detect up forever!" Kentachi exclaimed, merely waiting another two turns for Detect to fade away.

Next, Kentachi unleashed a barrage of Swift on Mien, who was knocked backward briefly.

Mien then used Meditate, raising his attack.

Kentachi used Aqua Jet and sent Mien off his feet slightly, however Mien grabbed Kentachi and inflicted a powerful move called Force Palm on him, sending him backwards, staggering.

"Kentachi!" Azuri called out, scared for her friend.

"It's okay," Hiyoko said, brushing her claw through Azuri's fur, "Kentachi-kun will do good."

"Are you sure? But he's losing." Azuri said, as she cried for her friend.

"It's okay, Kentachi has never lost a fight before." Hiyoko reassured, "Besides, this is a play fight."

At that moment, Mien struck again with a Drain Punch, knocking Kentachi backwards.

Kentachi launched an Ice Beam, but it didn't work, as Mien just dodged.

"You're strong, but not as strong as I am." Mien said, putting up another Detect as Kentachi unleashed a wave of Water Pulse, "Your defense could use some work. You use too many physical attacks."

Kenichi narrowed his eyes at that statement. His brother was too used to defending himself, so he didn't feel the need to use defensive attacks, he knew this much.

However, this was a mere practice battle. Kentachi could handle himself, so he wasn't too worried. The Mienfoo seemed like a good Pokemon, if not a tad ignorant and full of himself. But then again, Kentachi also was.

At that moment, Mienfoo attacked with a Jump Kick, knocking Kentachi so far backwards that he didn't get back up right away afterwards.

"Urgh...that really hurt, you took the wind out of my sails." Kentachi groaned.

"KENTACHI-SAN!" A new voice called, and suddenly, a pink blur darted in front of him, as Mien's Drain Punch hit him...and did very little damage.

Everyone gasped at the sight of the Sylveon standing there.

"Why didn't my punch affect you?" Mien asked, a bit puzzled.

Suddenly, the Sylveon uttered a loud cry, and Mien was sent flying backwards.

It was so powerful that Mien wasn't sure how to respond to it, but that was absurd. The lad before him was neither a flying type nor a psychic type. So why was he suddenly feeling like he had hit a type disadvantage?

The Sylveon glared at him. "Don't hurt my friend anymore!" The pink gem around his neck was shining brightly in response.

"That's enough!" Momo cried, brushing Vee aside, "It was merely a play fight, no need to send out your powers now. Vee is a Fairy Type."

"A...Fairy type?" Mien asked, confused. "What is that?"

"It's a new type we just found, apparently Vee-san unlocked a new evolution of his. This Pokemon is strong against Dark Types and Fighting Types as far as we know." Momo explained.

"I'm a Sylveon!" Vee declared, backing away from Kentachi. "I will fight you if you harm him again."

"Not to worry, my boy. It was merely a play fight." Mien said, "But you really caught me off guard."

"The name is Vee, and don't forget it!" He said, sparkling as pink dust surrounded him.

"That dust makes me feel sick." Mien and Shiro said.

"Oh, sorry." He said, lowering his ribbons, looking sad.

"I think Vee is going to cry in five seconds." Swaby said.

"SHUT UP, SWABY!" Vee exclaimed, looking angry, before his eyes narrowed at something strange. "Speaking of weird…."

"What is it?" Momo asked, looking in the direction of where Vee was staring.

"Azuri...she seemed to really like my Fairy-type attacks. Could she be a part Fairy type as well?"

Azuri looked just as surprised as anyone else, but noticed that Hiyoko seemed to be tired from Vee's attack as well.

"I'm...a part Fairy type? Does this have anything to do with my...abilities?" She asked.

"We don't know much for certain, we're as in the dark about the Fairy type as you are, Azuri-chan." Momo explained, patting her head. "However, we are sure to discover more about it."

"Anyway, I'll be fine after I have some Oran Berries!" Kentachi said, laughing as he got back up and wiped blood off his face.

"Take better care of yourself, Brother." Kenichi said, as he placed a blue berry in his mouth and had him swallow.

"Ah, that feels better, much better!" Kentachi chirped, "Thanks, brother. You too, Mien-san, that was fun."

But Mien was busy staring up at the sky.

"The sun..." He muttered, "The sun is gone. Who stole the sun?"

"Time has stopped." Everyone said.

"Really? How come we didn't stop moving?" Mien said, troubled.

"He always does stuff like this." Vee complained.

Everyone laughed before settling down for dinner.

However, they were unaware that Phan was still watching.

"What do they mean by abilities? Why is Mien friends with them when he's a total doofus? I must find out what the Fairy Type is. And what are those gems of theirs? I would like to have them to myself." She said.

"That's unlikely to happen as long as I'm here." Said a voice.

She turned, in time to see a huge, green figure towering over her.

"You...You are!" She began.

Yellow eyes lit up as he smiled. "So I am. It's nice to meet another thief, Phan-san."

"You're the worst criminal around!" She exclaimed, curling up to do rollout, but then Leaf Blade hit her and knocked her unconscious.

"I refuse to let her harm my partner. Even if...she still doesn't wish to be around me." He said quietly, his eyes only on the little Azurill, before drifting back to the pink Eeveelution.

"Could Vee also have met my partner in the past? He seems familiar with humans." He muttered, very curious about this turn of events.

A pink figure appeared near him. "I haven't seen a Fairy type in a long time." Celebi confessed.

"I know, does this mean we are changing time too much?" Grovyle confessed. "We must gather all of these elements, and get the time gears so we can return to the present and save the future."

"They're enjoying themselves, let them do so." Celebi said, glancing at Kenichi, who was staring at her meaningfully.

"He doesn't have much time left, does he?" Grovyle asked.

"No, no, he doesn't." Celebi sounded sad.

"Don't be sad, he's done a lot for us." Grovyle said.

"I know, I just hate losing anyone else." Celebi said, downcast, before she disappeared.
