Title: The Universe Will Know

Summary: My kneejerk reaction on hearing the sad news of Elisabeth Sladen's passing.

Spoilers: "Death of the Doctor" episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Not a huge spoiler, but the final line will make more sense if you've seen that episode.

Disclaimer: Anything that is recognizable as part of the Whoniverse doesn't belong to me. The joy that Elisabeth Sladen brought to all of us through Sarah Jane Smith, however, is something that we all own and will always treasure.

Amy and Rory didn't quite know what to make of the sudden change in the Doctor's demeanor. One minute, he was singing the praises of the upside down waterfalls of Qualir, the next he was rushing around the TARDIS console muttering something about Bannerman Road and April 19, 2011.

"Doctor, what's going on?" Amy asked with concern. "Are we going back to Earth?"

The Time Lord nodded, a distressed expression on his face.

Amy's next question was, "Why?"

"I felt the Universe shiver."
