I sat on my couch updating my blog for the iCarly website.
It was half two I can't say I was expecting an eventful day but I was about to be proved wrong, and that was thanks to one person. She was the one person who could make anything more interesting.
My phone vibrated, 'One new message: Sam.' I opened the text, it read-
"Dudeee! I'm bored!"
I smiled slightly, for no reason. Or maybe she was exactly the reason?
I replied, "Do something? Where are you?"
Instantly she answered, "At my house. And no that would involve EFFORT Benson! What do you think I am? Energetic? LOL!"
I smiled again, "What made me think such a thing? Why don't you watch a movie then?"
"Not in the mood."
"Do homework? ;)"
"Don't get cute Fredweird ."
Before I had chance to reply there was a knock at my apartment door. I wasn't expecting anyone, so intrigued I walked to the door. The unknown visitor continued to bang on the door; this helped me guess exactly who was outside. I didn't even look through the peephole, I sighed and opened the door. "Sam?"
She smiled broadly, "Hey, I'm coming in!" And pushed passed me to the couch where she kicked off her shoes and put her feet up.
"I thought you were at your house?" I asked, confused.
"I was, now I'm here." She smiled again.
"Okay…So hi?" I asked shrugging.
"Hi," she replied not looking up and she read my blog entry I was in the middle of typing. "This is boring Benson. All you talk about is going to the Pear Store with Brad. iCarly is supposed it be funny and entertain people, that my friend is what you're failing at here." She pointed to the screen. I rolled my eyes and sat next to her, "Okay Princess Puckett what should I write about?" She smile began to spread across her face. "I've got a game we can play?" She mused. I laughed, "What is it?" She held her finger up indicating I should wait, so I did as she opened her backpack and removed a packet of The Jelly Bean Factory gourmet beans and a blindfold?
I love this girl and her randomness was one of the reasons why. "Care to explain?" I asked.
"Well you put this on," she thrust the blindfold at me, "and then you've have to guess what flavour jelly bean I feed you." She smiled, like this was a normal thing to do.
I crossed my legs so I was facing her on the couch and put the blindfold on, "Go."
She placed the first jellybean in my mouth and I chewed for a few moments, "Coconut?" I asked.
"Well done Benson, but that was too easy, next!" She laughed.
And we sat there for about quarter of an hour and she would answer yes or no to my guesses of things like blueberry, marshmallow or lemon.
"Okay last one, you ready?" She asked. I nodded as I felt her tiny hands on my shoulders. Then her lips were on mine gently as first but growing more eager. My hands found her hair and I pulled her closer to me. My blood pumped around my body fuelled by the sugar of the jellybeans and her hands running down my back. Her tongue ran on the inside of my bottom lip and I let out a small moan form the back of my throat. And as suddenly as she kissed me she stopped. I felt her nose rest against mine as her hands returned to my shoulders and I felt her lips smile on my cheek.
I held her close and whispered, "I think that's my favourite, actually I love it."
And thanks to Sam I have a more interesting blog to write, I think I'll call it, "My girlfriend likes jellybeans."
