The last piece of chocolate A/N: I was feeling kinda sad today so I decided to cheer me up by writing this silly little one-shot. Hope you enjoy it! At least I'm feeling a lot better now. Well, Roy and Ed always make me happy. : D
Somehow, somewhere in between, both of them had became addicted. They couldn't help it, it was the truth. They had tried to deny it, tried to stop it but… it just didn't help.
On the table, between Roy and Ed there was a box of chocolate. Delicious, sweet chocolate which tasted like coffee. Which Maes and Gracia had brought as a souvenir from their last trip.
Neither of them liked sweets. Roy actually disliked all kind of goodies. But those chocolates made an exception, for Ed too.
And there they were, glaring at each other, glancing at the very last piece of chocolate.
"You ate almost all! That's why I should have that last one!"
"No way! I was the one having a hard time because you kept on gobbling them!"
Ed started to pout and Roy wasn't really acting a lot more adult-like than his 17-year-old lover…
"Alright… We'll settle this down nice and fair. On a count to three, the one who is faster, wins…"
Ed hesitated a while, knowing that Roy didn't even know what 'nice and fair' meant. Then he nodded, knowing that was probably the only way to settle it.
"Fine."
Roy nodded back at him.
"Here we go… Three… Two… One… HEY!"
Ed grabbed quickly the chocolate and put it in his mouth before Roy could even blink his eyes.
As Ed grinned happily, sucking the last piece, Roy was glaring at him.
"Oh, I bet you are feeling so mature right now…"
Ed showed his tongue to the man and Roy's eyebrows rise as he saw the chocolate on Ed's mouth.
"Alright, you little brat. You've won."
Ed glanced at the man suspiciously. He knew the bastard well enough to know he wouldn't give in so easily… And what the hell was with that smirk of his? Roy was planning on something and Ed would be prepared for anything.
And he was really! Well maybe not for the fact that Roy would suddenly get up, walk slowly towards Ed and grab his chin, leaning in to kiss him passionately.
Roy deepened the kiss and Ed didn't even realize that he was making funny little sounds and his knees had turned into jelly and his stomach was cramped. His head spun, he couldn't think anything at all. All that mattered was to get closer to Roy so Ed pulled the man closer, shivering by the way Roy's tongue searched through every single spot on Ed's mouth.
And just when Ed was about to melt right there, Roy pulled away, smirking even more widely than before.
There was something about that smirk… Ed knit his eyebrows together and it took a while for him to realize.
"Mm, this sure is good!"
Ed got up, glaring at the colonel.
"That's not fucking fair, you asshole!"
"Fair…? You would know everything about fair, now wouldn't you?"
Ed stood there a while, wondering what could be the best way to kill that bastard. He had plenty of ideas…
"Come and get it," Roy said, grinning, licking the chocolate from his lips.
Ed's expression changed and he found himself grinning too.
And both of them knew that the last piece of chocolate always tasted the best. They would make sure it would taste even better than usually. After all, Ed had plenty of ideas for that too and by the look on Roy's face, Ed knew that he wasn't the only one with good ideas.
"I have to make sure that Maes will bring us some more chocolate…"
"You're talking too much."
Ed pushed the man down on the sofa and leaned in to kiss him, tasting the chocolate, coffee and Roy.
And damn, if that wasn't the best mix Ed had ever tasted.
