Hello, hello, hello! I'm back with a new one-shot! It's Alexa's (AlexaTheKnight) really belated birthday, and she deserves this amazing story! You're epically random sometimes but overall just a cool person! I wish I was more on time for your birthday, but when am I ever? :D
I hope you like this! It's one of my better ones that I'm actually sort of proud of! So YAY! I don't have much else to say. But here's a disclaimer for you!
Disclaimer: If I owned SWAC it'd be a LOT more epic than it is. Therefore, I do not own it.
If you could change one thing, what would it be?
Something you said, did, or wanted?
If you had one wish that could be granted, what would you choose?
Could it be a guy liking you, a toy, or understanding?
But in the end, would it really be what you wanted?
Or would you end up in tears?
You see, wishes have magic.
Very strict magic, as many don't know.
Sonny learned that after a harsh reality came to her.
After the wish comes true, you have a year until it expires.
Well, unless the person is really happy about it without the wish, or unless it's an item.
So if two people really liked each other, and one wished for the other to like them,
The other person would just randomly feel like confessing their true feelings.
Therefore, they'd be dating by noon.
The feeling would still last.
Everyone would be happy!
However, forced things never last.
Some things just aren't meant to be.
It's bad to force people, you know.
Sonny had wished that a boy would like her.
His name was Eric Goldenburg.
She wished for it every chance she got.
One day, it came true.
She had wished enough for it to come true.
I would tell you how to make your wishes come true.
But then you'd never learn, would you?
Take this as a warning.
She was as happy as she could be for a year.
They went everywhere together.
Movies, Lunch, bookstore, the mall,
She thought that he might be the one.
The one she'd spend the rest of her live with.
Hah.
Then, the magic disappeared.
He dumped her, and she ran to her room crying.
She was so sad she could barely rehearse.
Everyone felt bad for her.
She didn't deserve it.
Chad was walking by and heard her, sobbing into a pillow.
The blonde was heartbroken to hear her like this.
He knew what he could do, even after all her pain.
He walked in and said nothing, just held her tight.
Nobody could have ever thought that Chad Dylan Cooper would do such a thing.
She sobbed into his shoulder, and he let her.
They sat in silence.
About an hour earlier, Sonny wished that a guy would actually treat her right.
Sonny still didn't understand dream magic.
If she did, she may have never made the wish.
Yet she didn't need a wish for hers to come true.
If she didn't wish for what she did, she never would have discovered what Chad was hiding.
His true feelings for her.
Sometimes wishes are good.
People will never stop wishing and hoping.
Chad was always going to be there for her.
He just needed a push.
Was it good? You can always tell me by review. ;D
