For FireDrastar, but I may have made this into a multi-chapter because I liked the idea too much...

"I love this game."
Yugi loved games. It was a very well-known fact. He was called the King of Games, and his very name meant game. His grandpa also liked games, so it was in his blood.
He also liked certain people. These people meant even more to him than his friends, even more than games. Unfortunately, he wasn't sure if they liked him back. So Yugi devised a plan. He set up a four-player game, in which each player would end up working with and helping each other. This way, he might be able to tell if they at least liked him, or even each other. He had planned it though, like a proper strategist, and knew every move they would take. Now all he needed was time.
The perfect time came when they had a test the next day, and Yugi knew for a fact that Jounouchi, Anzu and Honda couldn't come round. So he approached Ryou.
"Ryou-kun, would you like to come round to mine to study for the test?" Yugi gave the adorably cute chibi look that no-one could resist. Unfortunately, Ryou could do it as well.
"I would, but my yami..." Ryou trailed off, looking down.
"Bring him as well. Him and Yami can play some games while we study. And Yami will stop any Shadow Games, so it's alright."
"Um..." Ryou still looked a bit thoughtful, before making up his mind. "Okay." He smiled and blushed a little. Truth be told, Ryou had a small crush on Yugi. Perhaps that's why he went. It definitely wasn't influenced by the grumbling and complaining yami in his head that he really didn't want to deal with alone.
The two soon sat around a game board on the floor in Yugi's messy, game-filled room.
"Yugi, why are there four places?"
"Oh, err...well, I thought our yamis might want to come out and play..." He said sheepishly, one hand behind his head. Yami came out immediately.
"If it's a game, you know I'm always willing to play, Yugi." He looked fondly at his partner. Bakura soon followed.
"If I get a chance to beat Pharaoh, then I'm in too."
"You shall never beat me, Thief."
"That's where you're wrong. You may win at card games, but this is a dice game. And I happen to be very good with dice."
The two hikaris sighed at the bickering yamis. Hopefully Bakura wouldn't turn this into a Shadow Game.
"I'll start." Yugi decided, grabbing the dice and rolling them before anyone could disagree. He got a double five. He moved his piece...and they all fell.
Out of the shadows of Yugi's room came a figure holding a glowing scale.
"Now you have all fallen into my trap...I shall keep destiny on track." Shaadi allowed himself a small smirk to himself. The one person he really hated was in there, and he was going to make his killer suffer. Even the keeper of destiny wanted a little revenge. "I hope you like it."
