FWUMP!

The sound of Kisame's head coming off his neck was loud, causing all other fighting on the battlefield to cease for the moment. As his head flew off before my grinning face, my entire face and chest were drenched with dark red blood, a slight chuckle beginning to form in my throat as this blood bath occurred.

"Dammit, there's no way!" Deidara cried out in complete shock as he looked at me in disbelief. "He killed Kisame?"

Konan remained silent, Anko and Haku gave the nod of approval.

"Is that the best you Akatsuki can do?"

Konan scoffed at my comment, Anko now staring at me in shock.

"Naruto, look out!" Anko roared as I looked back in time to watch Kisame place me inside a giant water bubble.

"Such ignorance," Kisame hissed as he body flickered next to the bubble I was trapped inside, the Kisame who had placed me inside of the water prison seemingly a clone. "I can create as much water as I need from the air around me. I don't need to be around water unless I was to use a powerful water style jutsu. And why would I need a powerful water style jutsu to beat a child?"

"You think that's funny?" I screamed out furiously as Kisame began to chuckle lightly.

"You probably should save your breath, you don't have much air inside that bubble," Kisame warned me. "I know how dimwitted you are, so I figured I'd give you a warning before you die."

"Kisame, you old dog, you gave us a scare hmm," Deidara told Kisame with a small grin plastered across his face.

"If you really thought I'd die to some inexperienced child, I ought to kill you

for underestimating me so drastically," Kisame replied to the comment with malice in his tone, Deidara's face going a bit pale.

"Finish him, we're done here," Konan commanded as Kisame gave her a toothy grin.

"Are you sure you don't want to say goodbye?" Kisame quipped, which was met with a death glare from the paper goddess. "I thought I'd ask... Well Uzumaki Naruto, it was a blast!"

The water bubble began to shrink quickly, before exploding in grand fashion before one half of the Akatsuki.

"Naruto!" Anko barked out angrily as her chakra increased drastically, beginning to surface around her body in a fierce circular motion. The color of her chakra changed from a light blue tint to a dark, inky purple color, several curse like marks spreading across every section of her body that was visible as this chakra color change occurred.

"This... I've seen this before," Kisame spoke up as each Akatsuki member stared at Anko in shock. "This is the work of that snake, Orochimaru."

Anko appeared beside Kisame almost instantly, facing forward as she stood in front of the Akatsuki member. Without turning to look even look at him, she punched him directly in the jaw, Kisame smarting from the attack, Anko appearing next to Kisame's right shoulder before he was able to recover. She kicked him in his chest with a swift kick, before following up with a devastating haymaker, sending Kisame flying backward with the sheer force of the punch.

Kisame recovered from the attack after stumbling across the ground for a few seconds, wiping a line of blood from the side of his mouth before flashing Anko an evil grin.

"Oh, you're going to be fun..." Kisame hissed as he ran forward, swinging Samehada at Anko's head as he reached her radius. Anko used her speed to dodge the attack, appearing on the hilt of Samehada. Kisame's eyes widened in surprise as he was kicked in the face by Anko, releasing his sword from his grasp as he was sent flying yet again. Anko let out a soft cough as she wiped off some blood off her chin, advancing toward the swordless Kisame with killer intent in her eyes.

Kisame fell flat on his back, sitting up slightly as Anko loomed over him, recieving another punch in the jaw, followed by another one. Anko kept punching Kisame again and again, a savage grin covering her face as Kisame's blood splashed on her cheek. Kisame tried to make a hand sign, Anko grabbing his entire hand with her right hand before he could do this. A sickening crack was heard, Kisame screaming in pain as his right hand was broken, Anko using her left hand to punch him in his teeth, shattering several of his front teeth. Anko glanced back at the other two Akatsuki members just in time to see Konan send a barrage of paper birds in Anko's direction. Anko used her speed to dodge each bird, dodging each one stylishly as she ran toward Konan with frightening speed.

Konan glared at Anko with no emotion as Anko punched her square in the face, which was met with an explosion, which caused the entire battlefield to be covered in smoke.

"A paper bomb clone, impressive Konan hmm," Deidara complimented as he nodded with approval.

Konan stood on a nearby tree branch as she scanned the battlefield to see if Anko survived. Without any warning, Anko shot out from the smoke like a bullet, punching Konan square in the face before she tossed her face first out the tree, Konan crashing in front of Deidara, who looked absolutely baffled.

"Your turn bomb boy," Anko growled angrily as she approached Deidara slow and menacingly, who for a moment look genuinely terrified. Anko suddenly stopped, clutching her chest as she coughed out a handful of blood, the curse marks fading away. She fell to the ground, still clutching her chest as blood rolled down her chin.

"So, it finally wore off," a voice stated as Kisame appeared next to Deidara, along with Konan.

"You mean you knew this was going to happen?" Deidara questioned as Kisame flashed him a sly smirk.

"Unnatural power like that can't exist without a limit," Kisame told him. "I knew eventually her body wouldn't be able to handle it. It's probably why Orochimaru doesn't have her with him right now."

"W-What are you saying?" Anko choked out as Kisame let out a hearty laugh, pulling Anko up off the ground by the root of her hair.

"I'm saying you're weak, that's why Orochimaru abandoned you," Kisame said. "Orochimaru doesn't let those with true strength out of his sight, but you seem to be not in his line of vision. Otherwise I doubt he would let you travel with Uzumaki Naruto."

"Shut the hell up, I don't care if I'm useful to a snake like Orochimaru!" Anko screamed. "The only man I wanted to be useful to you just killed!"

"You mean that boy?" Kisame shot back with a grin as he wrapped his hand around Anko's throat. "Don't worry, I'll send you to join him soon..."

"No, you won't!" Haku shouted as she appeared in front of Kisame with Zabuza's sword in her hand, pointing it at Kisame's neck.

"Yes, he will," Deidara stated as him and Konan placed a kunai knife at Haku's throat.

"Looks like it's a checkmate," Haku said as she closed her eyes. "Master Zabuza... Naruto... I'll join you both soon..."

"You'll see Zabuza, but not me!"

Haku looked up as I reappeared on the battlefield with a grin, everyone looking at me in sheer shock.

"Missed me?" I asked Anko, who had tears forming in her eyes as she looked at me.

"But... how?" Kisame choked out as his head came off his shoulders instantly.

"A Shadow Clone, just like the one I used to cut your head off," I explained casually as Anko pulled from Kisame's headless body, which collasped in front of Haku. "Such an ugly guy, I don't even want to see his face anymore..."

I let out a small, concentrated ball of chakra at Kisame's head, which caused it to disappear instantly. I turned to Deidara, who was still looking at me. As he was distracted, I used my speed to appear before him, cutting off the hand that had a kunai to Haku's throat, then uppercutting Konan in the jaw before she could react.

I pushed Haku out of their radius, glaring at Konan as she smarted from my attack.

"You killed Kisame, one of the seven swordsman of the Mist," Konan spoke out, the grin on my face increasing in size.

"I did that just to make a point," I said as I went into an attack position. "Think about what I can do if I actually want to kill you!"

I'm back dammit! Leaving it on a cliffy, be back soon with a new chapter! Good to be back on Fanfiction!
