AN: An outtake form "What's in a Word" I chose another one for "B" because this came out really depressing.

B: Bouquet

Yellow roses and forget-me-nots—the perfect arrangement for a summer wedding. She wishes it were her wedding. She wishes that the blue flowers didn't remind her of Steven, and that she didn't feel bitter on her friends' wedding day.

Once she would have loved the magic of this small wedding, but now her sense of wonder has dissipated—her hope has wilted just as surely as those flowers will.

She is a different woman than the one that dreamed of doves and ever-afters.

Donna throws the bouquet, and Jackie is sitting at the bar. She has outgrown her own hopes.
